‘Mothers’ Magical Mayhem

[Neran]

A mother and her daughter were currently arguing. “You never let me do anything!” Alison said as she yelled at her mother.

"I don't let you do anything dangerous or bad for you," her mother, Saundra, countered, "You are far too young to be out past midnight, young lady!"

[Neran]

“Ugh!!!” They kept arguing, before they were suddenly engulfed in a light. Alison screamed before they were floating in a black void. “What the…” She said before she noticed a giant being glowing pink with multiple arms and no pupils.

“Hello.” It said calmly, despite its large size.

Although she was cross with her daughter, Saundra wrapped her arms around Alison protectively even so. "Who are you? Where are we? What is going on?"

[Neran]

“I am a being of immense power. Who brought you here to bestow great power on you.” The being said as Alison widened her eyes.

“Seriously?” She asked.

“Yes, Saundra.” It said as it looked at the woman. Allison groaned at that. “I will be giving you power. But you must make sure no one else finds out about it, unless it’s someone else with abilities that I’ve manifested. You will use them to defend your world.” She said as she started glowing again.

"Are you certain the world even wants my help?" Saundra asked, trying to embrace this sudden news. "Most of the time, even my own daughter doesn't want it."

But it appeared she had little say in the matter, as she found herself enveloped by the light. When it faded, she saw that her clothing had changed. And in a most unexpected way.

[Neran]

They were back in the house while Allison had a bag and tablet with rules. “What the…” She said as she started reading them. “In order to adjust your body to the magic you will be…” She laughed as she read it. “Hey mom! It says here you’re gonna need-“ She froze as she saw what she was wearing.

Saundra was in a state of shock and disbelief. Her classy pantsuit had transformed into a frilly and colorful dress with a very short skirt. Just above that skirt was an equally frilly white disposable diaper. "What kind of sick joke is this?"

[Neran]

“Okay then…” She said as she resisted the urge to laugh… for about five seconds before she started laughing. “Hahahhaaa!!!” She laughed as she tried to control herself. “Okay okay… I’m sorrry…” She said as she read the tablet. “Okay… so apparently you’ve been given immense power, but since your body isn’t used to it, it’s getting affected with incontinece… for now. You can potty train, but only when you get full control.”

As she read more and more, she spoke so her mom could follow. “At the base, you’re affected by softer skin, no control over your… you know, less control over your emotions, and more energy. But it also says you have a unique baby trait, and that it could be anything from not being to read to not knowing colors.” She said hesitantly as she looked at her mother.

Before bursting into laughter again.

Saundra was indignant. "What kind of nonsense is this? I didn't agree to this just to be humiliated in this fashion! I am a grown woman! And I changed your own diapers thousands of times, honey, so I wouldn't be laughing too much if I were you!"

However, she noticed that her perception was beginning to change before her. There was a Rubik's cube that her husband always kept at his bedside table, yet she had difficulty telling where the labels were, or if had even been solved yet. She just folded her arms and huffed.
