Cynthia and Ash A mommy and baby Kalos Adventure - (Private)

The train pulls into the small Kalosian train station and the passengers begin to all disembark. Among them, is a young, blonde woman wearing a large sun hat, dark glasses, and a fairly unassuming blouse. The woman in question is none other than Cynthia, champion of the Sinnoh region and one of the most powerful trainers in the world. Of course she's doing her best to hide all that right now.

After once again defending her title in Sinnoh (honestly even she didn't remember how many times she'd won her title at this point), Cynthia had decided she wanted to take a full fledged long vacation and she figured that the best place would be somewhere she'd never been before, and here she was in Kalos.

"Wow it's so pretty here!" Cynthia squeals to herself as she gathers her bags and looks around at the rolling green countryside and a river off to her side. She'd opted to take a train that got off on the outskirts of Aquacorde, a fairly small town regarded as the starting ground for most trainers as it was in between the more rural areas of Vaniville and Santalune where the first gym was. Cynthia had decided to model her trip over the traditional route that most Kalos trainers took. In fact a part of her had even toyed with the idea of challenging the gyms herself as a bit of a nostalgic redo of her own time as a trainer (using a different team of course). But she'd decided against it as that would likely give her identity away, and while she wasn't nearly as well known here in Kalos as other regions Cynthia was determined to keep a low profile to maximize her relaxation. Though as she starts making her way through the town, she is starting to wonder if this might be a bit more fun if she had someone to enjoy the vacation with her. "Oh well, maybe I'll meet someone on this trip....maybe they'll be a handsome Kalosian gentleman...or a gorgeous Kalosian princess...." She whispers to herself with a giggle, which distracts her a bit as she turns the corner.

Ash Ketchum who just arrived in the city of Kalos felt a little nervous as for once in his life he is completely left alone he had no companions with him not even his best friend Pikachu was with him. "I'm starting think traveling by myself wasn't a good idea" his legs are shaking a bit which people noticed but didn't want to say anything.

"Why did Pikachu want to stay with my mom in pallet town wanting a vacation from battling" he whined quietly to himself not wanting to draw more attention to himself then there already was. The boy was to frightened and distracted he wasn't paying attention to where he was going as he turned the corner and dropped his suitcases and landed on his butt "ouch"

He opened his eyes and saw a woman wearing a large sun hat and dark glasses. He tried getting up quickly but couldn't as he realized his right knee was bleeding and pants was cut. ("When did I get hurt?") He thought as his eyes started to tear up.

Cynthia had been so distracted by her daydreaming as she turned the corner, that she didn't notice Ash until she felt someone run into her side.

"Ooff," Cynthia grunts, dropping her suitcase and almost dropping the handbag on her shoulder. "Huh? What just happened?" She looks around for a moment, but her eyes soon settle on the boy on the ground in front of her. "Oh my goodness, excuse me," Cynthia says, before her eyes widen as she sees his bleeding knee. "Oh I'm so sorry, here take my hand let me help you," she gasps and reaches out, taking his hand and pulling him to his feet. Fortunately she had a good couple feet on him so pulling him up and guiding him was easy. Soon enough, they reach a bench and she helps him sit down. "There, now just relax and let me take a look at your knee," Cynthia says, kneeling down and looking at it. Fortunately, it looked to just be a small scrap with a bit of swelling. "Okay it's not bad, don't worry I have a first aid kit," Cynthia says reaching into her bag. As she's rifling through her stuff she finally slows down a bit and starts to take stock of what's happening. She'd been so caught up in the moment you could almost describe her as being on autopilot, just entirely focused on helping this young man....who she just realized she hadn't even asked the name of our looked in the eye yet.

"So are you feeling okay....," Cynthia looks up but then pauses as she seems to recognize him. "Wait.....Ash? Ash Ketchum?" She asks, a small smile forming. Yeah, the young trainer who she'd encountered a few times when he'd challenged Sinnoh a few years ago. Made it all the way to the League finals until he encountered that mysterious trainer with a Darkrai....ugh, it had felt good when she beat him. Such a show-off. "It is you. Gosh I didn't recognize you at first without your Pikachu!" She says with a smile.

Ash takes the woman's hand and was pulled to his feet. "Thanks" he said as was being guided to a bench. (This is kind of embarrassing" he thought as was sat down. "Umm...thank you and sorry for bumping into you ma'am" he scratched the back of his head a habit he does everytime he feels embarrassed. "I was distracted and it's just a cut I don't need any medical assistance" he spoke quickly as he imagined a giant needle and getting a shot that his worst nightmare.

I'm okay" he then raised an eyebrow as this stranger knew him he knew he had a reputation as the pokemon master ("I knew I should of worn a disguise but I didn't think no one would know me in the kalos region.) "Umm yes how do you know me?" He held his breath.

"Oh I'm perfectly fine, don't you worry," Cynthia replies, before pausing for a moment, confused by Ash's question. Of course she soon remembers her own disguise and that she hadn't really given the boy a chance to take a good look at her. With a brief glance to her sides to make sure no one is too close to them, Cynthia leans in closer and removes her sunglasses.

"We met in Sinnoh remember?" The champion says with a wink. "I still remember the truly incredible battle you had with that trainer Paul. Come to think of it, I think we bumped into each other once in Unova too...." She says with a slight chuckle. "Anyway, I'm trying to keep a low profile myself, so maybe we can keep me being here our little secret?" She asks with another wink, before going back to her bag and pulling out her aforementioned first aid kit. "Now about that knee..." she says as she starts pulling out a few basica medical supplies.

Ash raised an eyebrow in confusion but then the boys eyes widen in surprise as the stranger was Cynthia "wh..what are you doing here?" He whispered as he understood now why she is wearing a disguise. He has a small smile remembering there meeting in sinoh. "I was nervous when we first met you know?"

Ash then chuckled at the mention of the battle with Paul. "That was a great battle I'm surprised you remember that" he laughed a bit. "Don't worry I won't tell anyone you are here' he winced as Cynthia put some medicine on scratch. "Did we meet in Unova?" He put a finger on his chin as he was trying to remember.

"I get that a lot, and I don't see how I could have forgotten a battle like that," Cynthia chuckles at Ash's comment. His final showdown with Paul was to this day one of the best battles she'd ever witnessed. She pauses as he winces while she cleans his cut, taking her time a bit more as she finishes. "To answer your question, I just came here to take a little vacation. I've never seen Kalos before and I needed some time off. But I assume you're here to challenge the region and its gyms," Cynthia says with a wink as she pulls out a bandage. "Though going off that, where is your Pikachu? And your friends? I've never known you to travel alone," Cynthia asks as she bandages his cut.
