Midori grinned and got busy preparing more onigiri, leaving the kids to talk amongst themselves.

"Yeah? Cool." giggled Hikaru, "Hey, maybe we could hang out together sometime then. It'd be boring just doing nothing for so long."

Kurenai blushed madly, muttering something about killing Anko. Hasaki just laughed harder.

"Relax, so you two are gonna have some fun. You deserve it. Besides, you make one hell of a couple. So don't worry, I'll keep an eye on your team, Asuma."

"Hey, no problem. I figure I owe you two that much after all the hell I caused the both of you back when we were kids." Hasaki grinned. "Though, what about your kidlets, Kurenai?"

Kurenai smiled. "They're all busy with family-related matters. Luckily for me said matters just happened to coincide with our plans." She leaned her head on Asuma's shoulder for a moment. "But again, thank you."

"And again, no prob. Now get outta here. You two have lots of fun to be having and all that."

Kurenai groaned and dragged Asuma away "Remember; not.a.word."

"Yeah, yeah."

Ino was so excited she couldn't hold it in. She let out a small squeal. "This is going to be so awesome!" she cried out.

"Wow Ino-chan, I didn't think you'd be in favour of it." Hikaru remarked.

Ino smiled nervously "Ehhehehe. Well, um, I mean why wouldn't I be? This will be a great opportunity to build friendships and stuff, right?" She looked to Shikamaru to see if she was being convincing with her cover up.
