Just letting peeps know, lve just added a new profile field which is required to be entered.

Its pretty basic, just for another level of security and will help us obtain proof of ownership of an account when someone gets locked out of their email and has lost their password and emails hoping to get their password reset to another account.

All thats required is a secret word/phrase or whatever which can be used in the event you want passwords reset to another account if that makes sense.

So how do we go about starting it/getting it? You know sense who is already a member before this wouldn't have that

To edit this part of your profile, head into your User Control Panel, and then click on Edit Your Details.
The option should be at the very top of the list, just below Edit Email and Password.

Remember - This is a security measure, so set it as soon as possible.

But do people honestly forget their password on here and email?

My passwords, i keep them on a flash drive inside a word pad.

We get a lot more requests than you think. Passwords, emails, verifications... Lots. You'd be surprised.
