ABOUT SHILLITO ACADEMY
Shillito Academy is currently run by the wife of the founder and main donor in Wyatt Shillito himself: Sharyl Shillito. The woman is keen to run a powerful and prestigious school in the face of competitors springing up not just across the small country of theirs, but across the world. She's set up some particular rules all around the dorms and the campus in general, but as far as the dorm she's specifically looking after goes, she's taken a particular close eye at it. However, when it comes to Shillito Academy, it is
not mandatory for a child to live on campus, nor is it mandatory for staff to live on campus. Only official students at the school are allowed to visit friends who live on-campus to prevent any random street hoodlum from showing up to cause trouble.
One key thing to remember is that I, as the author of this setting, have intentionally left the year ambiguous for the sake of a timeless feel, as opposed to any determined year.
ABOUT KEPLER HALL
Kepler Hall is where all of the children characters stay at. It's got a specific set of rules and unique features that the other sections of the campus lack. Some of the basic, important rules for this hall consist of the following:
- Bedtime is at 10:00 PM at the very latest. The only excuses to being up at this hour are to use the bathroom.
- Rise and shine no later than 8:00 AM as classes begin at 8:30 AM
- No use of profane/racist/sexual language -- you all are a bunch of children, after all!
Any violation of these rules may result in punishments that may include spankings, being grounded, and/or diapering. (Tier 1 punishments)
Inside Kepler Hall are also optional dorms/living spaces for the adults who decide that they'd rather live at the academy instead of living off-campus in their own place of sorts. For example: Although the Shillitos have three homes all across the world. One in Florida, one in New Hampshire, and a penthouse in New York City, Sharyl stays in her own little dorm area inside Kepler Hall to keep a closer eye on the most notable children of the entire campus. Although she's a very busy woman, she'll definitely take the time to take care of any children who are in need of help, needing someone else punished, or if someone just wants some mothering nurture.
