Iris eyed the Dragonite suspiciously before relieving herself, wanting to try her best to prove that she really, REALLY didn't need diapers.

After Iris had finished up, the Dragonite came in to scoop her up, smiling to her. "You must be tired after such a long car ride, dearie. Do you maybe need a nap?"

"I mean... I guess if that's what you want me to do, I'm in no position to stop you," Iris said, trying her best to stay mature and go with the flow.

"Oh, don't be so unsure of it. We were driving for quite a while. So how about this, I'll lay you down to rest, and tell you a little story. Ok?" Bertha cooed at Iris while patting her on the head, confident in her ability to make the girl tired enough to do what she needs.

"I think I'd rather just lay down without all of the rest of that, if that's OK," Iris said, as she was lead into a room she could only assume to be the guest room. There was undoubtedly a nursery, but she was being given a chance, for the time being. As she was laid down, she felt the plastic cover meant to keep urine off of the mattress. Seems she wasn't too trusting.

Bertha did her best to keep the girl from not running around too much. Seems like she'd be the type to need some very restrictive clothes, on top of the actual diapers she'd wear. As she made sure Iris was tucked in and all comfy, she smiled and sat down near her. "I think you deserve to hear a story at least, you've been such a sweetheart after all."

Iris's acrobatic skill was a point of pride she didn't want to waste on trying to escape, but was doomed to inevitably lose anyway. Not babyish enough, afterall!
"I really think I'm fine, ma'am," Iris said.

"Oh come now, I'm sure you'll love it." She cooed and planted a small kiss on Iris' head, before making sure she was all nice and comfy. She didn't grab a book or anything, so perhaps it would be more personal. Bertha wanted to tell her this story to make Iris fall asleep, so it had to be less traditional.

"Urgh, fiiiiine," Iris said, rolling over to one side, "Just make it quick, if you want me to sleep I just wanna sleep."

"Mhm, alright then. I'll tell you a story about the last Pokemon I got to take care of." Bertha smiled and slowly placed her hand ontop of Iris' head, rubbing it and patting it lovingly to help her rest. "She was a cute little thing, although quite timid. She loved to run around like you, yet struggled to take care of herself. And she was about as standoffish as you too when it came to this. But, whenever she got scared or sad, she'd come to me, and I would sing her a simple song. It calmed her down and made her quite happy. And it went something like this..." Bertha soon began to softly sing a simple melody, meant to soothe Iris.
