Adult diapers for sale in India's vending machines!

Over the years, single and even small packs of baby diapers have been sold in vending machines within the United States (See here, here and here) and in other countries but adult diapers have yet to be marketed in such a fashion. Or haven't they? As far back as four years ago (Or possibly earlier), vending machine companies in India have been selling adult diapers as a source of convenience and comfort to their customers (See the following article -> here. In the article, the adult diaper vending machine installed at the senior center sells one adult diaper for 40 RS [~ 0.57 USD] discounted from the average cost of 300 RS [~ 4.27 USD], so the retail price per diaper could be feasible for seniors. Note: Rs, Rp or INR are all acronyms for India's currency, Rupees. See -> here).

Who knows? Perhaps someday the adult diaper industry in the U.S. and other countries will take a cue from India's adult diaper industry and start marketing their products in vending machines as well! How would you feel about having such vending machines at your locale? Enjoy!

The Koala Kare diaper dispenser that you linked to is similar to the ones that used to be in the bathrooms at my local Walmart except a single, generic baby diaper costed $0.50 back then. I wonder how would an adult diaper dispenser be strategically placed in a public bathroom if vendors were to start installing them? It would probably look weird mounted next to a baby diaper dispenser and changing table. Mounting an adult diaper dispenser near a sink as is done with a tampon dispenser in a Women's bathroom or a condom dispenser in a Men's bathroom, doesn't seem to make much sense either, IMHO.

I agree with the first part of what you said. Not only would an adult diaper dispenser possibly look weird mounted next to a baby diaper dispenser and changing table, there would be a safety concern as well. I would imagine that some idiot would try to get changed on a changing table which is only designed to hold the weight of up to an average sized toddler and not an adult - The whole thing could rip off the wall and come crashing down with a loud noise, resulting in injury and embarrassment! IMHO, on the contrary to what you said in the second part, it would actually make sense to mount an adult diaper dispenser near a sink next to a tampon dispenser in a women's bathroom or next to a condom dispenser in a men's bathroom because all of the items in those dispensers may be considered as convenience products which in the case of an emergency (e.g. - "Leakage" in any one of those cases), the buyer would appreciate being able to purchase the desperately needed product from the given dispenser!
