in a small grocery store within one of the poorer district of the hidden leaf village, lay a strange sight. young sasuke uchiha was wondering through the aisles. now what was strange about that? only that he always ended up in the baby aisle, giving nervous glances at the items on the shelves

Taking a mid afternoon stroll through a small area of the village Anko Mitarashi wondered around searching for something to do. She had finnished all of her daily duties and missions early but she didn't to go home yet feeling that was too early to do so. Ever since the end of the chunnin exams she's obtain a lot of spare time, a little too much time. She approached a small store, one that's she's never seen around this area. Having nothing better to do she entered inside curious to browse through its merchandise.

inside sasuke had just made another pass into the baby aisle, and was currently examining a package of pacifiers

There was nothing that caught her intrest. But was wasn't surprised that there was considering that the was located in the poorest section of the village.

" Oh my god! I need something to do! I swear sometimes I wish I had a kid or maybe even a pet, something that could keep me busy or entertained."

Since she didn't see anything worth buying she headed toward the exit but stoped in her tracks as she saw a familiar raven haired boy in the baby isle.

in the aisle, sasuke shifted nervously with a slight crinkle, and looked around quickly before grabbing a package of pacifiers. he then rushed over to a register, trying to act non-suspicious while he waited for the worker to ring him up

"What is that in his hands? And why is he in that isle?"

Curiosity got the best of her and decided to find out why he was browsing through the baby needs. Anko caught up to Sasuke before he reached the register and lightly tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hi sasuke, its been a while since we last me but I'm not if you remember me. I'm Anko the Chunin exams procter. I saw you a little earlier and wanted to see how you've been." She then eyed the small box in his hand. "What do you have there.?"

when he felt the tap sasuke turned to face anko "oh..hi anko. this is..uh.." he said nervously, as he tried to hide the box's contents from her

Hehehe she giggled. "Come on I'm not gonna laugh." She said with a playful punch to his arm.

"pacifiers..for a babysitting mission." he said, it was a lie of course, but he wasn't going to tell anko that he was buying himself pacifiers

"Babysitting mission? Sounds like something you'd really hate. So were is the rest of ur team shouldn't be with you gathering supplies together?" She asked attempting to trap him in his lie.
