Kid from the Future

In the future, a secret government agency kidnapped children at a young age and conditioned them to become the perfect soldiers. After all, who would suspect that a child was secretly a super-spy? But even though they were brainwashed to be loyal, the harsh reality of their lives occasionally inspired some of them to defect and run away. There wasn't anywhere they could run though, the agency had their eyes and ears everywhere.

But for one child, where wasn't the right question at all. He was in his bedroom at the training compound (although it was more like a cell), having successfully pilfered some experimental time travel technology. He was wearing his uniform: a silver jumpsuit that was quite common in his time period.

A young, diapered, boy was walking around a neighborhood. He was dealing with some insane stuff. He liked to take walks around the neighborhood to get away from it all. The company never had any motivation to potty train him. Not like he wanted to wear undies anyway, diapers were pretty darn useful. He never had a real family or anyone to take care of him. He needed someone to take care of him, like his parents never got the chance to. He wondered who would though?

The boy was approaching a swingset, where a girl sat on one of the swings, her toes playing in the sand. She was wearing the same uniform he was, and when she saw him, she waved to him.

"You know, I heard this place used to be a real neighborhood fifty years ago," she said. "They had real families living in these houses, with real mommies and daddies. Not like the droids that take care of us and change us. And they didn't have the fence neither. Families could leave the facility whenever they felt like it. I guess it wasn't called the facility back then though."

"That sounds nice. Having a mommy and a daddy." He replied sitting next to his friend on the swings. "We could have that you know, a mommy and a daddy! I swiped this machine from the ceo when he was visiting yesterday! It's a time machine, we could have what we've always wanted!" He exclaimed exictedly!

Her heart fluttered when he suggested they use the stolen time machine. "We can't run away!" she told him. She couldn't give up her life here. And what if they got caught? "But I suppose we could see what it was like back then, for a little bit. And it is a time machine, so we can spend as much time in the past as we want, as long as we come back to the same moment we left when we're done... okay!" She'd never been on an adventure before that wasn't sanctioned by the facility.

"Yeah, wouldn't it be great to have a mommy and daddy. Someone to love and care for us!" He replied, fiddling with the time machine. He was really looking forward to a new life. A new life as the little boy of a loving Mommy and Daddy! He would have the family he had always wanted.

The girl got off the swing and looked over his shoulder. The time machine looked like a watch, with a number of dials on it. "How does it work?" she asked curiously. She'd heard about these devices. They could not only travel through time, but they had a limited ability to modify reality too. Changing ages, pulling things from alternate realities, wiping memories, and so on. She could only imaging the full power of such a device.

"I don't know the exact way it works; I'll just have to fiddle with it." He replied, doing exactly that. "Anyway, I'll make it so our Mommy and Daddy will think we're their real kids." He continued, as he fiddled with the machine. There was a bright flash and then both kids were in a room. It had two large cribs, a changing table, a soft plush carpet, and a huge toy chest! He was wearing different clothes now. He was now wearing a pair of navy blue overalls, with a pacifier clipped to it.

"Oh wow!" The girl was captivated by the sheer amount of things furnishing the room. "It's just like in the pictures!" She ran to the changing table and pulled out a drawer beneath it. "They even have old-timey diapers, not like the smart diapers we wear!"

Now that she had what she wanted, she wasn't sure what to do with it.

"I know, this place is cool." He agreed, smiling at what was obviously their shared room. "Well I don't know about you, but i need a diaper change." He exclaimed, having messed his diaper earlier. "Daddy, I need a diaper change." He called out, wondering if anyone would come and change him.
