Thanks for the heads-up. I'm sure something like this occurred after the death of Bin Laden.

Don't feel bad. It happens pretty much every time something like this happens. You can't prevent all of them.

well hopefully this warning will give everyone the heads up for future attacks, so they can like the Panda Security facebook page and follow Panda Security on twitter so they'll know in advance. Panda Security is the best security system out there.

I've heard good things about it. I'm probably going to get Panda Security. Sounds like the safest bet.

I never use antivirus software ... I am my own antivirus lol. I do a better job then any program can.
However since this isn't my computer, it has McAfee on it. Seems to work decently, I suppose.

ew, mcafee. =x
i am not concerned in the least about viruses. i cannot recall the last time i actually got my computer infected by one. sometimes they are fun to put in a sandbox and see what it does. some of them are actually kinda clever. most are just cheapo milw0rm exploits stuck into an automated process though. the script kiddies that write most of the viruses are obviously really dense though. most have little to no code encapsulation, and their payload depends on user error most of the time.
