Sango was walking back to her village, returning from a mission she was just on. She didn't notice but she was being followed.

Makito was a half breed, a demon and a human, and he had similar characteristics to Inuyasha. He had short spiky black hair, green eyes, black nails that were part of his weaponry, and a samurai sword that could change into a large broad sword. He wore an orange kimono over a black shirt and pants. He was also barefoot as at the time he was sitting on a tree branch paying attention to nothing in particular as he watched a village. He had become some what of a protector for most of the land, though he was seen as an outcast even though he saved lives everyday from other demons.

Sango didn't expect what happened next as a rather tall demon came from behind and hit her in the back, causing her to fly face first into the ground. "Damn it. Why didn't I notice him?" She cursed to herself as she slowly stood up, clutching tightly to her Hiraikotsu. "This is the last thing I expected." She said, throwing her Hiraikotsu rather weakly at the demon.

Makito looked around not seeing much of anything happening.

While Sango began to fight, it was a mystery where her companion kilala was, but the answer to that mystery was that kilala had run off somewhere, soon to return. Hopefully with a nearby demon she would catch its scent and run back to help sango if she would be in trouble

"Kilala where are you?" Sango asked, sighing as her Hiraikotsu missed the demon completely. Kilala soon sensed the demon, fearing that Sango was in danger. She transformed into her larger form, rushing twords Sango very quickly. Sango weakly caught her Hiraikotsu, looking around the forest. Soon enough Kilala stopped in front of Sango, growling at the demon. Sango weakly climbed onto Kilala, laying somewhat lifeless on top. "Kilala go." She said, throwing her Hiraikotsu at the demon again. Kilala started running twords the village, not noticing Makito near them.

Makito heard some commotion and noticed light flashes of fire from the corner of his eye. He turned and watched as a large beast rushed to the village with a woman on top of her and jumped down in front of them. "Stop where you are demon, if you're friendly then wait here by this tree, even if you mean no harm the village will treat you as a threat and your friend will receive no help." He said to kilala hoping the animal would understand or at least the girlw ould hear him.

Sango weakly looked up at Makito. "Who are you? Didn't you notice the demon probably following me back to my village? Kilala faster." She said, catching her Hiraikotsu again. Kilala ran faster, trying to get Sango back to the village as fast as she could.

Makito sighed as he noticed the demon and pretty easily slashed the demon to bits as only cries of a demon could be heard from the village that sango was led into.

Sango was about to say something before she passed out, her body shaking a bit. Kilala came to a stop in front of the village, feeling Sango shaking on top of her. Kilala layed on the ground, hoping Sango would come to.

Makito rubbed his hands in the dirt to remove the blood and guts from his hands and claws, then he went to a nearby stream and washed his hands and feet. He then went back to his tree where he noticed the girl and animal and walked over seeing the girl's wounds and scratches. "We need to get her bandaged up and healed" he says.
