That is quite possiable that you read a story like that do to I read alot of fanfiction when I got very little to do so it might have popped in my head and I don't realize its from a fanfiction .

Twilight had been secretly without Spike knowing it slipping a potion into his food or drink called Safe Brew, it allows even a baby to control their bladder and bowels it was invented for dragons that live with ponys do to more often then not they can't horde therefore they can't grow Which equals most of the time eternal babyhood body aside from the sexual biology as that part of the dragons body is exempt from that problem.Anyway Spikes body was building up a resistance to the potion which is rare and Twilight hadn't realized it causing Spike to have a accident .
