Hmm...the first idea I had was, when the Avatar is found, they're taken away from their home to train and master the four elements. Although it's not by force, maybe the avatar is really timid as a child, and that affects them mentally and makes them wet themselves occasionally?

Aw! That's so sad! One of my friend's brother actually recently died, so I know how that feels. =(

You probably know about the whole "avatar" concept to, I assume; only the Avatar can learn all four elements and whatnot. And, when an Avatar dies, they are immediately reborn somewhere else in another nation. So, the cycle goes like this; air, water, earth, fire. Since Korra was born a water bender first, the next Avatar would be born in the earth nation. So, we can either begin with the next Avatar being born, or around the time when he/she finds out they're the Avatar.

And don't worry. It won't be hard to follow. I'll just explain locations and history through exposition. >w<

Hm... yeah, I guess we could do that. Just borrow a bit of the lore without taking the roles of characters we aren't even familiar with.

I sorta do, but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea since we both haven't watched the show; The Legend of Korra ended last month, and I wanted to do an RP before about the sort of "extended ending" of it depending on how it ended, but it ended with a pretty good note.

So, I had a thought; the concept of bending the elements should be easy enough to follow, and I can simply explain locations to you if need be. The rest of it can just be original characters we can use.
