Abandonware is definitely a legal grey area. Games that have been unpublished for years and were made for systems several generations ago are rarely, that I know of, gone after for copyright violation.

I don't criticize just was asking seeing as I haven't found a 1940's movie made by a company that died out been looking everywhere for it,I want to buy or sent but have yet to find it. Same with some games that I can't find to buy or rent.
I tend to try to keep from downloading or streaming sites unless something can't be found at a affordable price. Which I might at is quite rare for me to download or stream sites for anything

The simple answer is that I'm not perfunctorily against downloading at all. I am just FOR paying for titles that I enjoy, and take issue with downloaders with the audacity to criticize those of us who support the titles we like, because often we're the ones funding their ability to download them in the first place.

ello seems we got about the same views on the industry of downloading ,well mostly anyway.
Question for you on downloading products would be,if you can't find say for example a 1940's movie anywhere aside from downloading what would you do?!
