Yes but just how much control does he have the downward spiral at Disney is far more than one man's fault solo and the star wars franchise are on the decline because of cretire disputes. What happens when you alienate a fan base they don't buy your crap. Same thing is soon to pass with marvel they're so soaked up in their agenda they'd rather lose money then admit they were wrong. The marvel comics practically died since 2012 they became so saturated with this bs and I fear for the future of the companit's ups blaming a single exec when Kevin feige and Kathleen Kennedy are just as to blame. She is still partly responsible for solo and for on multiple occasions sighting the predominantly male fan base of star wars as an issue. I don't like horn, I don't like Kevin feige, and I don't like kathleen kennedy but acting like any one of them is more to blame than the other is stupid marvel and star warsdecline will come because they try to appeal to an adience that isn't their. Disey is makin huge sweeping mitakes and has been for the last decade and I can't bring myself to blame one person and I don't think firING one person will undo all the wrongs they did. I sincerely hope the absolute best for gunn but nothing is gonna convince disney to rehire him. Anyway this isn't the best place for this if you wanna disscuss further toxic vm me I love a good disscussion.

Horn was the one who pushed for Gunn's hiring back then. He knew Gunn during his time at Warners and all the way back to the Troma days. He knew who Gunn was, and he judged Gunn to be sincerely remorseful enough for the tweets. Horn was the one who then shivved Gunn, solely to protect his own reputation, and look like a moral, upstanding guy. Any actions to bring Gunn back, like by Kevin Feige, were shot down because Horn bullied them into submission. Not to mention there's also Horn's detrimental insistence on radio silence regarding John Lasseter instead of clearing things up to ensure we don't have a false portrait, hiding behind Kathleen Kennedy to have her take the fallout over Solo (which was in fact his decision), and his talk of shuttering R-rated Fox IPs after the acquisition is complete, especially the likes of Alien. Horn is deadwood, the likes of which haven't been seen since Jeffrey Katzenberg and latter-day Michael Eisner, and he could very well lead Disney into another dark age.

Blaming Alan horn for the current disney issues Is more than foolish. He was not the only one responsible for the firing of gunn. And anyone working at Disney would likely do the same in his stead. Firing alan horn won't do anything because firing gunn wasnt just a personal decision by him and the studio stated it will remain firm on its stance regarding gunn.

If you want to make a difference regarding Disney's recent bad responses to its past year of public shellacking, especially regarding the situation with James Gunn, there is one person responsible: chairman Alan Horn. We can make Disney pull itself back from the cliff: https://www.change.org/p/the-walt-disney-company-remove-alan-horn-from-disney

Until I see the spot represented in a major spider man medIa I'll continue to be discontent. I'll also accept an appearance by the big wheel. Come on give some garbage villains the spot light
