I suppose it’s different for every country. In my opinion it’s partly because the U.S is so big and diverse lots of people want to see more of it. That’s not to say Australia is small by any means. Then again that’s just what I think, take it with a grain of salt.

Exactly, that’s a problem for a lot of college kids. They’re like “No mom and dad, let’s go crazy!”. A lot of them don’t have the responsiblity or maturity to handle that kind of independence. Exactly even if when someone leaves home, most of the time they don’t cut off all contact with their friends or family.

Don’t worry about it! I need to vent to people all the time. One time, I was chatting with my dad, and I was angrily ranting about something. He tried to add his own two cents or something like that, basically I told him I’m ranting here be quiet!
