Honestly I could see us just skipping right to the first date to cut a bit of time before the inciting incident out

I can see us starting at either the rescue or the date. If it's the rescue you should stat to explain the dragoness's situation, but if it's the date I think I should start so that my character can be awkwardly waiting for a literal dragon

Also the thought just occurred to me that their relationship would basically be someone and their particularly cherished plushie lol

Actually, I wanted to see if you'd be alright with a kinda 'meeting in the middle' style of opener. He saves her life and she basically just states that they're going on a date and he can do nothing about it. Of course, it's mostly to observe him to see if he's what she wants.

I think boytoy is actually a very accurate way to describe him. She sees him as more of a very endearing, cute, and fashionable object that suits her taste. If all of that's OK with you of course since you'd be playing her, just some suggestions

I looooove everything on there aside from public, but I'd be cool compromising on that with something like 'everyone else sees the charcter as a baby too'.

I'm big into the idea of forced everything, humiliation is one of my biggest kinks from a "character being belittled by their CG" standpoint. I love coo-ey babytalking and aggressive cuddling, and such.

I'm thinking my character would be someone who's a bit of a nerd specifically because I like the idea of the dragon taking a fancy to a character who can tell her about all of the things they like (i.e. things humans do/have made)

Sure, that works! I just kinda imagined they'd have a more human connection since I'd think the dragon would value a human based on their characteristics and personality the same way we'd value a piece of jewelry or clothing.

The main thing I'm kind of stuck on is how the RP should begin? My idea for it was something along the lines of "pays the dragon's bill at a restaurant after hearing a commotion about them having no money, and show tehm around town", but that doesn't seem right to me for some reason.

The Dragon Maid one is kind of a pet idea of mine because ever since I got my hands on the monster manual I thought the silver dragon had the traits of a CG. Basically they're fascinated with the human race and love everything about humans to the point where that's usually what they hoard. The idea would basically revolve around such a dragon deciding that they like a human so much that they're going to treat them as their new treasure
