True on the mlp factor granted it was ultimately one of the worst offenders years ago of the ''30 minute long tv ads ''as the cartoons of the late 70 on up to even abit of the 90's had going as the main thing of their exist was to push products given some dumbass laws made all because of 'moral guardians' Which most if not all the laws made in regards to kids tv entertainment are still a thing but funny enough the government for the most part isn't enforcing these laws like '' Yeah whatever they're stupid laws that have no useless not worth the hassle trying to end them '' I mean really I could see the government try and something just as bad if not worse is made from 'moral guardians ' taking up arms to even harmless cartoons in mass again.

Humm you know the only good things that came about some hung group wanting better cartoons for kids but ironically caused the cartoons to be in general shit so long? Its simple a mostly mandatory minimum length of time a cartoon is with a in general set limit on amount of ads during cartoons and tv programs for kids

Even heard talk its a shared universe with atleast Darkwing Duck given they are basing this take more on the comics then the old cartoon aswell as what could just be easter eggs/references in what people more attentive then most have noticed in what we got in the new version personally to me I think we need a nice big official shared Disney cartoon universe as the closest we got to my knowledge is what if I recall right was called 'house of mouse'' which seemed like a decent Segway 'wraparound'' thing that had effort put into it despite what seemed like the series goal to use old cartoon sorts/segments in a way to let them have the light of day again as most was the old old segmented ones from yesteryear .

So I think we need a shared Disney cartoon universe for sure that has a lot of characters from the old Disney afternoon and afterschool blocks

As for the new cartoon the art style to me is off putting nothing bad or anything its just the art style both drawn but mostly shading wis is one that I barely if ever recall seeing in animation and that is the off putting factor will likely watch it though as it seems like a good reboot or 'revision' to what I know and the art as I said isn't bad just odd and different in ways that give a awkward feel to it given the old look of them was good as was. Plus if you watched the varies 'Duck' themed series they had going or rerunning then you'd notice a shared style causing atleast older fans to be extremely used to it and loving the style. So it will take time to against to the new style in use.

Humm speaking of reboots wanna know one of the things why the current MLP is a smash hit while in general the old ones are in general seen as trash? Just want to bring this up as it seems like in general Hasbro and Disney working with staple Disney products are the only ones making good animated reboots at this point

Decenct though kinda got in a youtube discussion with someone who seemed reasonable at first but is one of those ''feel like you are talking to a brick wall'' types that can't seem to accept others views exspecially trying to use ''you are using a slipper slope fallacy '' when in fact all I did was point out a nice deal of factual proof letting things be and slide like this person was basically saying indirectly was fine to do as it wouldn't cause massive bullshit later on . For instance I don't know if you are aware of a Weinstein company shit going down right now but they are scrubbing a person from everything he did while working with them all because of a sexual scandal and a lot of people myself included see the problem in this being okay legally and put in use for once . The reason its a problem well refer to the book 1984 for the best example of what this shit can cause if left not properly handled and monitored matter of fact its even easier to do scubbering of facts, history , people and such in this age as its getting less and less physical evidence being made and more and more data evidence in place . As sure its just a company now but it'll get worse if left unchecked giving Years of evidence of letting shit slide leads to the inevitable conclusion
