Aggressive Regression: Downfall

It was marvelous!

When his council woman had came and revealed there to be a planet that was actually able to put up a fight against the battilion, She couldn't help but chuckle. Now, however, she was growing excited.... Her highest ranks hand managed to find footage of this place's sole protector. There were many others but this one proved to be a bit more... Odd. The Squewlarian queen released another laugh as she stared at the planet through her ships vast window.

So that was "Earth"? The queen walked closer. Pointed armed heels clanking with each step as he long robe followed behind. The pale blue creature with unique imprints on her face, long claws, long stringy white hair, and radiating Crimson eyes smiled, revealing her pointed fangs that fit inside of her purple lips.

Stabbing her hand deep into the center of her chest she began to change, recalling the image of he planet's protector and Co. She morphed the furthest reaches of her hand and withdrew them, revealing there to be no mark on her skin.

Her greatest warrior was already summoned and waiting orders. She placed her four fingers on his head, blood and all and no sooner had she did this was the blood gone and transferred off of the hand. The warrior departed. She faced the planet once more.

"Prepare to be mine." She muttered announcing every letter and syllable gracefully.

"Come on, Tails!" The blur pleaded, ignoring the red lights and noise.

WARNING, WARNING. GRAVITATIONAL CHAMBER UNSTABLE.

"Jus-just wait a sec!"

WARNING, WARNING. ELEMENTAL LEAKAGE WAY.

"But Tails~" the blur dragged on.

WARNING, WARNING....

"Not now, Sonic, I'm working on an highly Exposlive interdimensional terraforming device." Tails said urgently as he readjusted the lenses he had been using and continued to type and work on said machine. "But Tails! There's something weird going on with it!" Sonic said as he pointed to kitchen. The fox sighed. There wasn't anything he could do to stop his friend until he solved the problem.

Sighing angrily as to tell his friend that this interruption was not appreciated, which it honestly wasn't, the kit gave in. "Ok... Fine but just let me..." After. Few more tweets here and there the red danger light and war it's where stopped. "Now what is it?" The kit asked calmly as if talking to a child.

" 'The microwave isn't working~' is what you thought I'd say isn't it?" The blur said smugly leading his two tailed pal to the kitchen where a chaos emeral was placed on the dinning table. Tails smirked and let out a small chuckle. "Ok.. Sorta. If that isn't the problem then-" "This is the problem." Sonic cut in. The fox a atlases the Emerald. "What's wrong with it?" He asked.

The blur shrugged. "I'm not too sure but it was buzzing and acting funny when I was sleeping. Whatcha think is up?" Tails examined the hem closer, not noticing anything different. "Hmm... I'm not too sure but I bet it be a good thing to tell knuckles!" Tails said as he took off some of the gear he had work in the lab. "Wait a sec and I'll be the Tornado!" The kit said flying off...

Meanwhile there was immense trouble stirring up on Angel island where Knuckles resides.

"Alert your puny friends" The brutish hulking warrior commanded to the echidna who was suspended in air, his hands clutching to try and remove the thick tentacles protruding from the monster's back that were wrapped around his neck.

"Grk! N-No!" Knuckles defied, even though he had already been roughed up pretty badly by the strange space monster, his lip split and nose bleeding and one blackened eye swelling shut. "I-I won't!" He growled, not making his attacker happy at all as all his defiance did was make the grip around his throat tighter.

"If you refuse to call them here, I will suffocate you until dead and then ravage the cities below." The warrior alien beast said in a most menacing gravely voice "Many will die, before they show up and it will be on your deceased hands"

Knuckles kicked and struggled all it could but it was no help as he started to become weakened from the lack of oxygen. The pressure around his neck increasing caused his ears to ring violently as he was turning blue in the face. "Nnnng!" He would hate to admit it, but he was actually fearful now as darkness started to gradually encompass his vision and there was clearly nothing he could do to save himself or others if he refused the order. "O-okay!" He managed to spout out though his voice was ragged and suppressed "I-I'll do it!"

"Gooood boy" replied the evil one as he loosened his hold on the guardian's neck, but not enough to free him. "Alert them now" He ordered while holding Knuckles to the master emerald.

Knuckles coughed and choked at first draw of much needed air into his lungs. He hated that he had to give in to the demand. But he knew he had to to save innocent lives below. And there was a bit of optimism that perhaps this monster could be taken down with the help of his friends. So he placed his hands to the emerald before him with his eyes closed as he channeled the energy to send out the S.O.S. to the emeralds in Sonic and Shadow's possessions

"There, you giant creep... It's done" Now all that was left to do was wait for his friends to arrive, while this beast still had the hold on his neck.

(KYAAAAAA~ you play an AWESOME knuckles!!!!!! I forgot to mention that the queen did that process in order to help the warrior transform, therefore your not restricted to looking one set way. You can change and look like anything.)

Sonic was just about to start tapping his foot in annoyance until he felt something. Turning back to the table, the blur found the gem to be blinking rather urgently. More so than before. There was something unsettling about that... A frown slithered its way onto the hero's muzzle. He was getting this... Forbrooding feeling form the Emerald.

Uneasy the blur picked it up. He felt...A Warning? Eyes widening the hero tried to understand what it was the Emerald was telling him. The.. The message was blurry. But... He felt the urgency in whatever the Emerald was trying to tell- Wait.. Was that-
...
"It's ready Sonci!" Tails called heading back into the house and kitchen.
...
-Knuckles? The blue hero's eyes widened more as he was starring at the gem in his hand more intently. What was happening with that knucklehead? Why was it that... He looked so.. beat up?

"Sonic?" Tails said standing besides his brother who was starring at the white Emerald almost as if he was looking at water, being told he had to swim in it. The fox waved a hand in front of the Emerald and his brothers face, trying to invoke a reaction.

Snapping back to the here, Sonic looked up at Tails and back to the Emerald. "We need to head to Angle Island-" "We are, bro-" "I think something happened to knuckles." Sonic finished. All lighthearted feelings and smile erased from the kit's face as he realized the serious knees of the situation.

The two rushed to the plane. "Hop on!" Tails said as he quickly got in and prepared the plane for take off. Sonic shook his head as he motioned to the Emerald. Knuckles needed him. He had to go. Imagining the floating isle, the blur held up the gem and said "Chaos-"

"CONTROL!" He would never adjust to the feelings he felt after doing that. Realizing he was on his destination, either that or he really sucked, Sonic took off in a slight run as to not miss any sign of clue of his red friend. "KNUX!"

Very shortly after Sonic arrived via chaos control, a familiar black hedgehog with red stripes had pulled the same move. Shadow had saw the distress situation in his own emerald and immediately warped to angel island, where he appeared about half a football field's worth of space away from Sonic. "Is Angel island under attack?" He asked himself under his breath as he looked around, but then spotted the blue hedgehog as he did so.

"Sonic!" He shouted across the way and ran towards him "Do you know what the Hell is going on here?" The hedgehog stopped in front of the other, swiftly crossing his arms and looking as stern as he always seemed to be.

Meanwhile Knuckles felt the presence of the two hedgehogs, knowing what the signature energy from a chaos control felt like deep in his bones. But he didn't say anything to the monster of their arrival, in hopes of stalling the showdown he didn't even know if they could win.

He looked to his right... Not there. His head switched to his left. There had been no sign of his red friend so far and it seemed that the blur's chances of being on the wrong place were growing. That is until he heard an all too familiar voice. Looking back to the front, our hero realized his situation all to late... Shadow was standing in his path, and the blur was 3 feet away from crashing into him.

Sonic instantly tried to slow down, his feet piling up dirt in front of him, until he came to a hault. However gravity wasn't on his side as the blur managed to calm to a stop and landed on his behind a few feet in front of the older 'hog. Sonic stood up and patted the dirt off of his tush. He then remembered what the other had said.

"I know it can't be good.... Why are you here?" He said and asked walking over to his rival. The blur was still eager to get a move on. Whatever it was that was going on must bee something formidable if Shadow came for it. That is if that's why he was here.

Left behind. Well that didn't seem to be too surprising for the fox. Tails flew the plan me closer to his target, figuring landing somewhere in the back would be best. The fox gulped. Whatever was going on with Knuckels, he hoped was something minor.

"Hmph" Shadow let out a slightly annoyed breath as he stepped back a bit to avoid being run into by Sonic. The blue hedgehog was lucky this seemed to be a dire situation they both ended up in the middle of, or else Shadow might have been more of a dick to him over what just happened. "Be more careful" He simply snorted, watching as the blue hero dusted himself off. "I believe Knuckles signaled our emeralds because he's in distress" He didn't have to tell Sonic that meant the master emerald could be in danger because they both knew it.

"We should get to the shrine, quickly!" Luckily, Shadow knew the direction and took off to lead Sonic there

"Where are your friends?" The monster asked while he was currently torturing Knuckles by crushing on his wind pipe, allowing him just short gasps of breath at a time. Not only being a method of torture, but it also served to keep the rowdy red brawler subdued. Because despite how helpless Knuckles looked now, the echidna did put up a hell of a fight before this thing got the better of him.

Sonic smirked before racing after Shadow, it wasn't too long until he was running along side the ebony Hedgehkg, preparing to face whatever it wa that threatened the M.E. Without a shadow of a doubt he knew Etgman would be there. Either that or the man was related, if this sandy his fault entirely.the hero scowled slight before trying to imagine the worse casensfenario and saying to himself that couldn't happen

Tails was about t land... Until he saw that thing. The object was barring skmethjng red in its-'That wasn't onyx was it..? Looking closer his suspiciousness and worries were confirmed. There was something choking his pal. And it didn't look friendly. The fox targeted the robot and decided to through blows a the beast from its plane.

The brute alien warrior heard the noise from the plane and looked to see it was indeed one of the guardian's friends come to save him "Heh, Tails" It confirmed, knowing the fox's name. Then it extended one arm which morphed into an impressive shield, one with a thickness to it that left every bullet fired from the plane embedded in it.

"Cheeky fox boy... I'll pull you right out of the sky!" And with great and terrible power it did just that! It's durable tendrils lunged upward, smashing through the propellers of Tails' Tornado while other wrapped around the wings like large vicious snakes. "None of you will be able to defeat me"

Knuckles watched in horror and shock at what he saw. Tails was coming in hot on his plane, dishing out hot lead at the monster... But now he was suspended in air, in a plane that was unable to fly. And all Knuckles could do was wait, and hope Sonic and Shadow could help.

"Beat y-" the smug look that was growing on the hero's face was quickly replaced with slight fear. That thing over there wasn't.... That wasn't Tails was it? Green nervous irises traced down the funny looking ropes holding the plane down to its owner. That thing didn't look so friendly. Acting as fast as his name, Sonic speed off and quickly spin dashed the creature.

If this Thing had hurt his lil' bro.... An angry pant came from the blur as he rebounded off of the creature. Sonic stared at the odd looking thing and saw-Knuckles!? He didn't look so hot. Sonic clenched his fist as he tried to calm a growing dark sensation.

Tails was scheming. He needed to use this time to find out any of this monster's weaknesses. When his bro arrived the fox was going to initially call out to him but that would risk him loosing his image of unconscious or unable to move. He really wasn't expecting for his brother's spin dash to fail, but that wasn't as shocking. The real shocker was how... What would fit it?.... His elated the monster seemed to be seeing Sonic.

The Squewlarian queen smirked. There it was. The rumored 'protector' of this planet. The queen watched the screen more intently. Usually in dire times that other superior being would arrive. Smiling, the queen sat down in the main control seat. It was just a matter of time before that other creature showed up on the screen. An eerie chills escaped her lips as her gaze grew fierce. Those things wouldn't be a match for her warrior.

Let alone her army.

Shadow watched as Sonic rushed in to hit first with his powerful spin dash, but he was a little disconcerted to see what little it did against the strange and large beast. He also saw the tendrils extending upward over his head and looked up to see the Tornado with Tails still inside. " I'll help Tails!" The ebony hedgehog blasted off with a boost from his rocket sneakers and made a homing attack straight at the unknown monster, rebounding off of it to grind up the tentacles. With that maneuver, he was able to pull Tails out of the cockpit and land safely on the ground with him. "Do you have any ideas?" He asked the fox as he stood in front of him to guard him.

Knuckles watched it all happen and he saw as the monster reacted by throwing the plane, then angrily whipping it's powerful tentacles at his three friends with such speed they were a blur. "You'll all get a proper whipping before I take you back" He laughed menacingly as he struck them, and when they'd dance aroundand try to dodge, he made an extra effort to strike their butts too!
