Steph burst through the door like a sudden gust of wind propelling a sandbag, hefting her great carryall through the entryway and depositing it heavily on the floor.

"Probably going to silt up your washing machine again!" she called cheerfully down the corridor, prying off her huge heavy leather boots by kicking their heels determinedly against the polished wooden floor. They too were still heavily clodded, and chunks of mud dropped off, which Steph brushed hurriedly to one side. The toecaps were no longer beautifully polished, promising hours of work before the next weekend, and something Steph would definitely have to do herself to get right. But she wasn't thinking about that for now. Instead, she hopped on one foot and then the other as she dragged off the long thick green woolen socks, one after the other. Otherwise, she was in crumpled and basic civilian clothes, hurriedly dragged on to cover her for her recent quick walk through the streets.

"I need a shower," she called; still without having confirmed her partner was even home. She'd probably be in danger of silting that up, too, if the state of her hair was anything to go by. "Care to join me?" she called out, almost as an afterthought, as she padded her way into the house, glancing curiously around to see where Danielle might be.

Danielle emerged from her bedroom, the smaller girl's hair a mess as she yawned and toddled over towards Steph, giving the much more burly of the two a happy hug to see her home. In truth, she still needed her shower as well not by any means of hard work but by the fact that she had barely woken up as opposed to her much louder counter part.

"I'd love to join you." the little night owl giggled sliding up against her girlfriend happily and the looking out towards the entrance hall. She'd have to polish that up again and possibly even sweep and mop but that was of little concern to her, she could do that later. She had spent her night working on a job she had, she worked IT from home, and the time had gotten away from the poor girl. "So how was it?" she asked curiously, still lightly hugging up against Steph.

"Blew some shit up!" Steph chimed happily, without bothering to go into detail about exactly how half a field's worth of liquid mud had ended up raining down all over her. Grenade launchers were awesome, and they'd never let her play with one before. They probably never would again.

Easily, she slid her arm around Danielle and steered her down the corridor.

"Where's my kiss?" she prompted, bobbing down to receive it on her lips, and wincing slightly at the bruises on her rib cage. She knew she must pong a little, so she didn't linger. The shower was the priority. Walking Danielle along, she fumbled to shed her trousers, and stepped out of them, leaving them in the corridor. "Have you missed me?" she asked, humourously.

Danielle couldn't help but giggle about just how different the two of them were but she was happy to have the girl back, mud or no mud. "Well as long as you had fun and you are safe I'm happy you got to.... 'blow some shit up.'" she felt herself dragged and quickly followed along.

She giggled a bit as Steph bent down to receive her welcome home and with Danielle overjoyed to have her back, the girl was more than ready to give her a kiss. She grinned and quickly moved to face her girlfriend, locking lips with her happily before she broke off the kiss and watched Steph hurry back on her quest to the shower. "Well of course I missed you." she smiled. "What kind of question is that? I miss you every time you walk out the door."

"Of course you do!" Steph grinned, egotistically, but not without some degree of irony. Sweeping Danielle along, she hurried her through the bathroom door. "Now get those clothes off, because mommy wants two things, after this long hard weekend away! First her hot water, and then her poontang!" The choice of phrase was deliberately ridiculous, though Steph was certainly serious enough about the first part of the equation. Not bothering with the bathroom door, she shed the rest of her clothes without delay and turned on the shower, beckoning Danielle to follow her in.

"You can do my hair," she offered casually, as if she were doing Danielle some amazing favour by offering her the short muddy strands to attend to.

Danielle just smiled back at the ridiculous choice of words, the girl moving to quickly undress herself as she folded her clothes and set them on the counter of the sink before moving to join 'mommy' in the shower.

She laughed a bit at the idea of doing her girlfriends hair and washing all the mud out, the girl swiftly moving in behind her and starting to run her hands through it. "Did you roll around in the field again?" she teased as she cleaned, wondering just how much dirt her girlfriend actually had on her. "You know, I could give you a really pretty braid if you wanted." she suggested, as she washed out a large chunk of dirt and then continued her inspection.

"If it's long enough for that, I need a hair cut," Steph retorted, as the warm water flowed over both of them. "Oh, that feels good," she sighed, which might even have been taken as a compliment for Danielle's head massage, had she not chosen to add, "you wouldn't believe how long I've been holding that in for." A faint yellow tinge began slightly discolouring the water between their feet, as Steph breathed out a long slow breath, and leant back against Danielle, nuzzling her hands with her head.

Danielle could only laugh and smile a little as her girlfriend decided to relieve herself during their shower together. "You know I thought this was supposed to be a bit sexier than watching you pee." she grinned, feeling the girl lean back against her and seeming to enjoy the little massage. "Do you wanna smell all girly and sweet or would you prefer I get you some of your manly man shampoo?" she teased, scratching the woman's scalp as she finally dislodged what she thought and prayed was the final piece of mud.

"Mmm, what's sexier than watching me pee?" Steph goaded playfully, turning around around to face her. "You can do it too, you know," she played her hands between the girl's legs, before kissing her daringly on the lips in a quick dart. "And let's make it the sweet and girly. Mommy's done being a soldier for this week. She's back to take care of her sweet little girl, having helped make the world safe for democracy!" (Assuming, of course, that was what exploding marshy areas of the country's moorland was indeed helping with).

Gently, however, the sparrow like kisses continued, in a way Steph wasn't normally known for. Normally she'd go diving in for the end goal with all the roughness and finesse of an untrained male; unexpected, given that she was in possession of the same kind of feminine equipment, except for the fact that she seemed to expect and enjoy the same kind of treatment herself, in return. But not today, apparently. Here, perhaps infused by the sweet and girly sent of the unfamiliar shampoo, she was almost delicate, pecking lightly at Danielle's lips time and again, and without explanation, while her hands traced slow circles around her back.

Danielle could only giggle a bit as she heard that her soldier and mommy was done for the week. "Awwww my prince charming has come back and it turns out she's princess charming." Danielle giggled, as she felt the kisses slowly pecking on her in a way that she was not used to with Steph. It had always been take what she wanted and when she wanted it, never a gentle brush of the cheek. In fact, Danielle was somewhat interested by the change of pace and suddenly she found herself in the mind from of want to be taken by her sexy soldier.

"You know," Her body was thoroughly enjoying the gentle ruminations of the tracing on her back and the soft kisses on her body. "You really have gotten better at this whole kissing and pleasing your girlfriend thing." she grinned. "Maybe I'll have to give you a little reward for that."
