Big Sister Nora (Private with AB Avery)

Nora Valkyrie walks down the path towards her dorm, glancing around at the dozens of Atlas troops walking around, and at the construction teams working to repair the damages.

It had been almost a month now since the Battle of Beacon, the surprise attack by the White Fang, the Grimm, and some strange group that didn't seem to be identified yet. Nora could still barely believe that they'd managed to win...no they couldn't really call it a win...a survival at best. Yang losing her arm to the White Fang leader before he escaped, Penny dying because of those dirty criminals tricking Pyrhaa, and Pyrhha. Nora stops and shudders. If Ruby had shown up just a second later she would likely be dead right now...even though she survived her battle with that "Cinder" lady had really left her ragged. Hence why Nora was on her way to check on her.

Pyrrha groaned as she held her head, still in her hospital gown. It'd been a month but the damage she'd retained had the schools nurses wanting her stay around for a while. Of course she wasn't exactly opposed to not being in the public eye at the moment... a few remaining effects from Cinders shot were... embarrassing to say the least.

She didn't even seem aware of the fact that she needed a change when a nurse came in to check her, an incontinence diaper, as well as talcum and oil already ready "Miss Nikos... its time for a change..."

Nora enters the school hospital, at which point the nurse behind the front desk turns and immediately sighs.

"Good day, Miss Valkyrie," she says. "I'm afraid that Miss Nikos is still not available for visitation today. But I will tell her to call you and your temmates lat..."

"No!" Nora walks forward and slams her fist on the desk, her usual sunny demeanor replaced with a furious scowl. The wood bending a bit from the impact. "It's been a month and I am sick of hearing that! We haven't seen Pyrrha in person since they brought her in on a gurney and my team is in shambles right now because of what happened to her. Jaune's running himself ragged training every day, Ren barely says anything, and I am tired of being stonewalled. Either you open the door so I can go and see Pyrrha," she pauses and draws her hammer. "Or this will." the nurse gulps and shrinks back, glancing at a panic button under her desk. She knew that Nora was losing patience with being denied visitation, but she hadn't realized it had reached this point.

"I...I'm sorry Miss Valkyrie...," the nurse says, while one hand slowly reaches for the button. "But both Miss Nikos' primary doctor and she herself have said that she doesn't want to receive visitors right now...I realize that we're asking a lot of you and your friends but..."

Pyrrha hears the commotion outside and sighs.

"Please... finish my change up... then uh... let her in..." She said, looking at the nurse with a shy blush as the woman wiped her nethers up. "I'll just try to make sure she doesn't... see it..." Pyrrha mumbled a little.

She really did miss her friends if she was honest, she was just too embarrassed by her new needs and the healing process to really deal with Nora's high energy... she also knew Ren and Jaune were sent off on a team mission, so there was no one to really balance the thunder queen out.

The nurse was just about to reach for the panic button, when the door opens and the other nurse walks out.

"Miss Nikos will see you now, Miss Valkyrie," the nurse says, also looking a bit nervous upon seeing her hammer. "But do try to remain calm. This is a hospital and she is still recovering."

"Ugh, about time," Nora grunts, but does holster her hammer before dashing through the door. Once she comes to Pyrrha's room she burst in. "Pyrrha!" she cries out, her eyes glistening. "How are you? Are you okay? Are they treating you okay? Why wouldn't they let us see you? When are you coming back to the dorm?" The red haired girl continues rambling, clearly holding back both her tears and the urge to pull Pyrrha from her bed and into a crushing bear hug.

Pyrrha of course immediately regretted her decision when she was hit by a fury of questions by the girl.

"Nora calm down... Nora... its okay... I'm sorry..." Pyrrha frowned "Everything has been good here, I've just struggled to fully recover from my fight with Cinder... she made the deathstalker and nevermore look like beowulf cubs..." Pyrrha tried to joke a little. "I should be cleared to get back to our dorm really soon..."

Nora starts to take a few deep breaths and looks back up, clearly she can tell that something seems off. Pyrrha's never been great at keeping secrets...at least not from Nora. Moreover she starts looking closer at her.

"Pyrrha it's been over three weeks, and this is the first time you've agreed to see me or any of us in person." Nora says. "And frankly you look like you could be easily resting in the dorm right now. What's up, why didn't you ever let us see you?"

Pyrrha blushed a bit, her cheeks starting to resembling her hair at the very direct to the point question Nora gave her.

"Well... lets just say theres some... new needs I'm adjusting to due to damage I took in the fight... okay?" Pyrrha squirmed a little bit, her rear end crinkling as she did

Nora's ears perk up at the crinkling. As someone with zero family she doesn't really recognize it, but after the disastrous attack she'd been a bit more on edge with her senses especially when her teammates were around.

"What was that?" She says glancing around. "Sounds like something..skittering..." Nora's eyes narrow and she reaches for her hammer.

Pyrrha squeaked a little "N-nothing... don't worry about it, okay, please?" She asked, cheeks going even redder at realizing how easily she was caught. She also instinctively held her blankets just a bit tighter to ensure Nora couldn't pull it off.
