Bizarre anime/animated cartoon papercraft (Paper models) available for free!

Hey all! Recently, I discovered a few bizarre looking papercraft that are unique in terms of their designed shape and/or size. Now you can create 3D paper models of the following strangely curious, anime/animated cartoon characters! Just download the papercraft patterns (Already colored and illustrated with details), print them out (On the shiny side of some poster board paper using an ink jet printer - Do not use a laser printer as those do not work well with thick paper like poster board. Also, you might damage your laser printer's paper feeder! See the fourth and fifth posts in -> https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewto...?f=11&t=100001), carefully cut them out (With a pair of scissors) and then assemble the papercraft (With all purpose glue, if required) to form each papercraft. Enjoy~!

Note: I will try to update this thread in the future with more paper model patterns for the other characters as soon as I can find them. Any feedback (Questions, suggestions, comments [eg. - Let me know about any dead download links so that I can try to find alternate sources for download links] or even a "Thanks for sharing!" post) in this thread and/or in the other papercraft threads would be appreciated and possibly helpful in determining which characters may appear sooner than others in subsequent posts (Let me know here which characters you would like to see posted sooner and I'll see what I can do - No guarantees or promises though as I have to try to find them beforehand. Remember, feedback as well as occasional updates help to keep threads alive!

Some downloads only have a .pdo (Pepakura Designer Object) source file and no Adobe Acrobat .pdf files inside of them (In a .pdf file, the papercraft pattern will automatically appear in its actual size). The functionality to directly print out papercraft patterns was not built into the Pepakura software. Thus, a .pdo file must be converted into a .pdf file for printing. In order to convert a .pdo file into a .pdf, you need to:

1. Download the free to use, Pepakura Viewer that is bundled with the Pepakura Designer (Not free to use. You need to buy a key
to unlock all of its useful features if you want to create papercraft patterns.) at -> https://tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/download/index.html.
2. Install the bundled software (Both the Designer and the Viewer will be installed).
3. Start the Pepakura Viewer and then open the .pdo file (Note: Double clicking on the .pdo file will open it with the Designer).
4. In the Pepakura Viewer menu, select "File" -> "Print to PDF ..." to create a .pdf file from the .pdo file.

Hey all! There aren't too many bizarre shaped papercrafts out there but fortunately, I stumbled upon two that many people here would enjoy. Here are the three dimensional papercraft interpretations of "Pickle Rick" from the animated cartoon series, "Rick and Morty" as he appears in Season 3 Episode 3, "Pickle Rick"!

Just download the pattern inside each associated Adobe .PDF or Pepakura Designer .PDO file (Free download here. Use the built-in, free to use, Pepakura Viewer to open and print out models. A license key is required to use Pepakura Designer to design models) used to create each respective papercraft (Already colored and illustrated with details), print it out (On the shiny side of some poster board paper or card stock paper using an ink jet printer - Do not use a laser printer as those do not work well with thick paper like poster board or card stock. Also, you might damage your laser printer's paper feeder! See the fourth and fifth posts in -> https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewto...?f=11&t=100001. Alternatively, you can use standard printer paper and a laser printer but the results may not be as aesthetically pleasing), carefully cut it out (With a pair of scissors. You can save time, labor and get professional cut results by using a Silhouette Cameo 4 cutting machine - See Using Pepakura with Cameo instructions, Cameo 4 product features and papercraft cutting demo using Cameo 4 and a Half-Life AntLion papercraft model. Caveat: The convenient, specialized machine retails a bit on the expensive side. See here) and then assemble the given papercraft (With all purpose glue, where required) to form the papercraft. Enjoy~!

Hey everybody! I'm sure that most of you have heard the old saying, "Everything old is new again." With that in mind, for the [near] beginning of this new year I'd like to present my latest, bizarre papercraft find which I discovered from an old, now-defunct site formerly known as "NintendoPapercraft". I introduce to you, the "Mario Coin Automaton"! This curio, created more than ten years ago by the artist known as Dug North, is a working papercraft model of an automaton that you can build yourself with simple materials like paper, all-purpose glue, scissors and an Exacto knife!

Just download the pattern and assembly instructions inside the associated .jpg files (Pepakura and the Pepakura Viewer is not needed to open and print out the model), print it out (On the shiny side of some poster board paper or card stock paper using an ink jet printer - Do not use a laser printer as those do not work well with thick paper like poster board or card stock. Also, you might damage your laser printer's paper feeder! See the fourth and fifth posts in -> https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewto...?f=11&t=100001.), carefully cut it out with scissors and an Exacto knife and then assemble the given papercraft (With all purpose glue, where required) to form the papercraft.

Like Mario himself would say, "Mamma mia!", "Okey-dokey!" and "Let's-a go!" Enjoy!
