Camila "punishes" Luz - an Owl House rp (Private with Neran and theJozza))

Camila Noceda sits in her living room waiting for Luz to arrive. There's a calm expression on her face, but underneath is a mixture of excitement and worry.

It has been just about three weeks since her daughter Luz managed to get a new portal back from the demon world she'd been staying in, or rather she and her friends had managed to steal one from the evil emperor Belos...one of the many things that Camila had needed explained to her, and frankly she was still a little unclear on some details.

In any case, she and Luz had been reunited and while she was happy and relieved to see her daughter again. She had also been delighted to meet her many new friends, particularly her darling girlfriend Amity, and of course hearing the full story of why, how, and what had happened to Luz these last several months had helped Camila better understand both the overall situation and her daughter's mindset.

However, the worry and hurt she'd experienced since she found out her Luz had run away had not exactly vanished. If anything she now also felt a little guilty for how far she and her daughter had drifted. But she'd managed to come up with something she thought would both be a way for them to rekindle their relationship, give her some much needed alone time with her precious daughter, and maybe serve as an appropriately gentle "punishment" for Luz upsetting her mama so much.

Now that Luz was able to more or less travel between realms easily (If you didn’t count Belos.) she was pretty happy. She had her friends, her girlfriend, her mom. Life could not have been better (if you didn’t count Belos.) So now she was looking forward to happy times.

“Hey Mami!” She said with a s smile as she sat down on the couch next to her. “I checked with my friends and I’m good to spend the week here!” She said with a smile as she clapped her hands. “I’ve never been more excited! Except for the time when-“ She then proceeded to list off many dangers that she and her friends had been through.

Dragons, demons, soldiers, death by cliff… things like that.

Camila smiles and listens as Luz tells her various stories. In all honesty, she was grateful for Luz's adventures for no other reason than all the friends she made. She even had developed a bit of a friendship with her mentor Eda the owl lady, though she still had some...concerns about some of the lessons Eda had been teaching her daughter. In any case, once Luz finishes her latest story, Camila clears her throat and scoots closer to her.

"I'm glad you're excited mija. I do hope for us to have some fun this week, but also the truth is I think it's time we had a serious talk about what you did," Camila finally says, with a bit of a sigh. They'd been dancing around this a bit, but she knew they had to address it. "Now first of all Luz, I want to say that I'm not angry. I was very upset when I found out you lied to me and were stuck in that place, but knowing the whole story and seeing all you've achieved there has helped me come to terms with it better. That being said mija, those months you were gone and I wasn't sure when or even if you were coming back, and wrestling with the idea that you chose to leave me...it hurt Luz, it really did...." Camila sighs again and turns away a bit. She didn't want to upset her daughter, but she also had to be honest with her.

[Neran]

Luz grinned as she heard her mom talk, before it gradually fell before forming a full on frown. “Oh I’m… so sorry.” She said with a full frown as she covered her face, feeling like crying for what she had done to her mother. “I… I didn’t mean to.” She said as she tried ti justify things.

“I thought I could come back whenever and you wouldn’t miss a thing!@ she said desperately as she tried to do something to fix this, despite nothing working however she still started tearing up in futility as she hugged her mom.

"I know that now carino," Camila coos, returning the hug and stroking Luz's back. "I know you never meant to hurt me. Also this has all made me realize just how much you and I had drifted apart lately. So I was thinking that for this week we could try something to bond a little," she says, standing up and taking Luz by the hand. "Now I have something to show you upstairs. I admit this is a bit of a punishment for your running away, but I really want it to be a way for use to move forward together. Okay Luz?" Camila says as she starts leading Luz up the stairs.

[Neran]

Luz smiled as she looked at her eagerly and desperately. “Yes! Anything!” She said as she desperate to make amends with her mom and put this whole thing behind them. She then leapt off the back of the couch and ran upstairs. However, when she came into the room, she suddenly paused. “Ummm… Mom?”

Camila smiles as she follows Luz up and into her bedroom, which now had some changes. The bottom bunk now had rails along it, there was a playpen with baby toys in one corner and against one wall there was a fully stocked changing table.

"Yes mija?" Camila asks, a warm if a little smug smile on her face. "Is something wrong?" At this point Camila is now just barely holding back her excitement.

[Neran]

“Why umm…” Luz said as she pointed at the room. “Why is this a… a nursery?” She asked awkwardly as she viewed everything in her room, or nursery. “So you wanna take care of a baby together? I mean, a babysitting business sounds fun…” She said as she trailed off, not wanting to face the evident truth.

[theJozza]

"Not exactly Luz," Camila giggles as she walks over to the changing table and retrieves one of the diapers from its side compartments. She then walks back up to Luz, revealing that the diaper not only has designs from the Boiling Isles, but that it's clearly not intended for a human baby, in fact it looks big enough to fit someone Luz's size. Camila simply holds it up and gives Luz the same smug smile, clearly waiting for her to say it.

Luz somehow paled and blushed as she started backing away, only to bump into the corner and slid down to the ground. “Um…” she said before she thought about her mom. “I… I take it this is all for me?” She asked awkwardly as she got up and walked over to her.
