Lady Ursa, the former wife of Fire Lord Ozai, had recently returned back to the Fire Nation. A message from her son and the new Fire Lord, Zuko, had brought her back to a rapturous welcome. Of course, this welcome made her want to rebuild her family and undo Ozai's damage. Thus, she arranged to have Azula returned to her custody to begin a process of rehabilitation. The thought filled her with joy.

Zuko was overjoyed to have his mother home after so many years. Still, he was quite worried about Azula, on top of all the work he had to do (even with his friend Avatar Aang's help) to rebuild the Fire Nation and the rest of the world. Meanwhile, Azula herself was still shattered from her (and her father Ozai's) defeat in the war... that when she was reintroduced to her mother, all she could do was breakdown sobbing like a little girl and even wetting her pants quite heavily.

Ursa had her cleaned up and in a thick, cutesy diaper afterwards. Azula soon crashed from it all and was left to sleep peacefully in her own bed. She looked calm and peaceful for the first time in a while, and Ursa watched her for a bit. Meanwhile, Zuko was having a moment with Mai. "How are you doing, Zuko?" she asked her fiance.

"Oh, I'm good, Mai, thanks," Zuko said, giving her a kiss on the cheek, trying not to show how stressed out he really was. "I really hope Azula's gonna be OK, don't you? Mom said she's literally sleeping like a baby right now."

"Oh yes, I definitely hope that she's all right. Even with all that happened, I still love and care for her very much." She kissed back and smiled. "I also can't wait for our wedding. It should be quite the event, don't you think?"

"Oh yes," Zuko agreed. "A happy occasion for the whole Fire Nation to celebrate!" He kissed Mai goodnight and retired to his royal bedchamber.

After a fitful sleep, Zuko woke up in the morning to find out he'd wet his bed. "Aw dammt!" he was so mortified he almost set his whole bed on fire... but he didn't!

Azula meanwhile woke up in a very, very wet and swollen diaper, and immediately began crying for her mommy once again.

Mai knocked on his door. "Zuko, are you all right?" She wanted to check on him.

Ursa made her way over to her daughter. "Shh, shh. Don't cry. Mommy's here." She picked her up and placed her on a nearby changing table. She undid the diaper and wiped her.

Azula calmed down while Ursa changed her diaper. "Mommy," she whispered sweetly, her first word since her defeat and breakdown at the end of the war. Zuko, meanwhile, told Mai that everything was fine, and claimed he was going to check on his mom and Azula. "Uh mom," he asked as Ursa was finishing with Azula, "could I, um, borrow... a few of Azula's diapers? Had a little bed problem last night." Then he realized that Mai, also wanting to check on Azula, had followed him into the nursery...

Ursa smiled. "Yes, sweetie. Mommy's here for you." She then powdered and rediapered her daughter, then kissed her several times. She turned to see Zuko standing there. "Of course, Zuko, feel free to do so. It's for the best, after all." Mai was smiling at this sight. "I'd be happy to help change you, Zuko."

"Say what?!" Zuko said, almost panicked at being 'caught' by Mai. "Oh, um... you sure, Mai? I, um, think I'd like that... let's just keep it to ourselves though, OK?" Zuko went over and gave Azula a kiss on the forehead. "Hiya Azula, you gonna be OK?" Azula nodded, "Hi Zuko," she said smiling, and waved to Mai with delight, "Hi Mai!"
