(I don't know yet. For now, no, but I may have her start to remember a bit more as time goes on. Just go with the flow, as my RP style is very improv based so stuff like that is natural for me to do.)

If Katie still had her mature part of her mind, complete with her insight and potential, she could have pushed back some more on it. But since she only had her immature and lacking infantile mind, she couldn't muster the ability to see what was wrong with that statement. Her mommy was always right on these things, even if she herself didn't get them...and this time she had a good argument too. "Okay mommy...at least I'm still a big baby and not a little one right?" She then asked her as she was at least hopeful.

However when her pancakes were served, Katie instantly went and started to eat them. Only...she messily ate with her hands as her mind couldn't grasp any other way to do it, which meant that she got crumbs and syrup all over her face and nearly her dress as well. Even if Katie and the others were entirely unaware of it, she would be very held back by her case of baby brain compared to where she was at just yesterday.

Samantha chuckled at Katie's statement. Technically, she was right, but not for the reasons she thought she was. "Yep. You're Mommy's big baby girl, and there's nothing wrong with that." She cooed as she watched Katie eat her pancakes as messily as possible. "Looks like someone's also a messy baby." She said as she got a wet napkin to clean Katie's face with.

Katie, on hearing that, would relax a little more as she tried to take her mommy's words to heart. She was a big baby, and it seemed like there was nothing wrong with being one so she would be one. On being called out as a messy baby and being cleaned, she would only be a little confused as to what she meant. Her baby brain couldn't comprehend what the idea of 'being messy' even was, only that it was something the grown ups took care of for her.

After a lot of work, Katie's face was clean of all the syrup and crumbs. "There we go! Who's a clean baby? Who's Mommy's clean baby girl?" Samantha cooed as she picked up Katie from her highchair and went to check her diaper. She always checked Katie after breakfast, and especially before they went out, figuring that she was going to pack a diaper bag anyway for Katie.

Katie giggled as she told Samantha as she was picked up "I am! I'm mommy's clean big baby girl!". She didn't fuss any as her diaper was checked, which given that was clueless on what her mommy was nearly constantly doing with her diaper was something that made sense to her. Why get mad over something you don't even know why it's being done for, after all.

Meanwhile, Samantha would find Katie's diaper to be clean still. But given that she just ate breakfast, chances were that it wouldn't stay that way for too much longer.

"Yeah, I am mommy!" Katie told Samantha as she waited to be put down. However, she would be greeted by the sight of Amy also packing her diaper bag for her, which she knew she needed extras while she went anywhere...for some reason. As she was set down, she saw her mother pull out some socks for her...and her pastel yellow shoes with velcro laces that lit up at the bottom whenever she took a step in them. She liked them a lot as the light was very pretty, but still asked her mother "Do I need to wear those shoes? Why can't I wear grown-up shoes? I'm sure that there are grown-up ones that light up too, right?"

Once she put Katie down, Samantha took out Katie's socks and light up velcro shoes and prepared to put them on her. In response to Katie's question, Samantha smiled at how naive she was. "You don't need boring grown-up shoes, silly. You need those as much as you need boring big girl underwear." She said, poking the front of Katie's diaper to prove a point before she put her daughter's socks and shoes on.

Katie couldn't help to feel that her mommy did have a good argument for it, she did find them boring. It was just that she was also lightly curious what they were like since she had never worn any after all! Especially big girl underwear which everyone told her that 'she'd never be able to wear them anyways' whenever she asked about wearing even just one pair.

At this point, she just lightly giggled as Samantha poked her diaper as she thought it was funny for some reason as she let her mother handle the hard task of putting her into the socks and shoes.
