Looking for a literate solo partner

So, between a lack of time in RL and difficulty finding interested parties, it's been a while since I've been able to do a satisfying AB/DL-themed RP. I've found myself with a more stable schedule recently, though, and am really hoping to rectify that situation. Any chance I could hook someone up for it around here?

A few notes about what I'd be looking for:

1. Someone interested in RPing privately, either over a chat client (Skype, AIM, etc.) or via e-mail. Actually playing via forum always feels to me like it makes communicating and plotting more of a hassle, so I'd prefer to avoid it.

2. Someone interested in writing well! Not expecting great literature or mile-long posts or anything, but putting effort into the content and style of replies makes RP so much more fun. It also just makes it so much easier to plan out scenarios with staying power and interest for all involved.

3. Personal prejudices as far as characters/roles are concerned: I prefer to play male characters and am not into girls in diapers at all. That said, while I lean towards playing the submissive, I realize there are way more subs than doms into this kind of thing, and I'm happy to play the dominant sometimes, so long as we're both willing to switch off (and put effort into both roles!)

4. Content preferences! I tend to enjoy fandom-based RPs, generally with animanga or book characters, more than OC stuff. If we can flesh out the characters/plot line before launching into things, though, the latter isn't a deal-breaker for me. General AB/DL themes I'm particularly into: Humiliation (public or private), accidents, gradual loss of control, bedwetting, potty-training scenarios, thick diapers/leaking. More outright age-play stuff can be fun, too, but I'm not up for it when it turns into regression to the point of one character losing their adult agency. Likewise, messy accidents/diapers are fine, but outright/overly descriptive scat is a pretty firm "no" for me.

I think it would be nice to be able to roleplay with a reliable partner (plus someone I can make friends with). Even if I'm more comfortable playing females I could probably play a male character or do a straight pairing. It'd be nice to flex my writing muscles and try doing something more detailed, so consider me up for the challenge!
I agree with you on most points, like regression and scat, as well.

Straight pairings are fine by me! I'm not sure if you have a preference towards sub or dom, but if we were going to swap between the two, I could probably be flexible enough to play the caretaker to a diapered female if the rest of the scenario worked for me, too.
