The news died down eventually, as it always did when things pass.

The miracle kid who bested his four babysitters; Sonic, Tails, Shadow, and Charmy was officially old news in the circuit of the outlets that graced the airwaves. He had a lot more than 15 minutes of fame to be fair but there was always a story to be had.

When Dr. Eggman came back with his "latest and greatest creation" a collective effort to defeat him rose again like always and the report then became about how silly Sonic looked fighting Eggman off in a pair of pink footed pajamas, a pacifier, and a loaded diaper before being carted off to a daycare center shortly after when Tails, dressed the same way, and Cream the Rabbit had to bail him out and save him.

The Chaotix were still going on missions. In fact their business had picked up seeing as Charmy was quite the cute little mascot attraction. He was fed baby food and had his diaper changed by customers for the occasional mission. It was humiliating for him but not as hilariously mortifying as it was for Shadow who couldn't pull off the cuteness as well as the military because of how much older he was.

Long story short, things had settled down now and Kenor was back in school as just another one of the kids. The idea that he was still a force to be reckon with still lingered but that didn't stop some people from trying. None succeeded of course.

And then the shy little new kid arrived. He was 2 years younger than the 9 year old Kenor, making him 7 years of age. He was a timid looking cat boy with a light green color, light blue eyes, and a lock of hair he dyed blonde. He liked the way it looked on him despite the odd looks he often got. He also wore a blue t-shirt and a pair of gray jeans shorts coupled with nice white shoes.

He sat down right across from Kenor as the lesson began.

Kenor did not let the fame stick in his head for too long, actually. Despite him getting over stage fright on occasion and going onto, you know, show the world what he was capable of, he was smart enough to not let it linger much. If he was smart enough to trick his baby sitters so badly, then this may have not been much of a surprise. He lived it and now he was back to a more or less normal life again.

He was currently wearing some long jeans with a red shirt with a little spray can on the front of it as a picture. He looked bored before the lesson even started. Eventually he was just doodling in his sketch book for a moment. Waiting.

Spencer, the cat boy, was taking in his lessons as best he could. Timid and shy as he was, he wasn't about to let it ruin his time as newcomer here.

He took notes super fast and scrawled along the paper, feeling himself rile up with determination the more and more time he took to get things down. It was this class, lunch, gym class, and another class he had to deal with before the day was out and he wasn't about to start off dreading his time here. No sir!

Faster and faster he went as he took notes down until he realized that he shot past what the teacher was saying and had to stop. This caused his pencil to fling out of his hand and smack against Kenor's face beside him.

Kenor winced when he was suddenly hit by Spencer's pencil. Rubbing the spot got hit, he looked to Spencer and asked, "Having a little bit of trouble with holding stuff?" Kenor wasn't the kind of person to get all pissy over something some small. So this was hardly a bother to him. Now, if that was intentional... Needless to say, he still wouldn't get mad, but planning would already be in mind then. For now though, Spencer would get say... An indirect warning.

It was a very uncomfortable first meeting. He didn't know anyone and he certainly didn't know Kenor. He was moved here from Apotos so he didn't know a thing about the news that surrounded Kenor a while back. He ended up blushing and trying to play it off coolly by rubbing the back of his head.

"O-Oh ... uh yeah... I uh... sweaty palms, you know?" He said with a chuckle. He wasn't exactly expecting a super violent response or anything but was still cautious that it might happen. He figured he'd best get back to work so he scooted out of his seat and went to go and grab the pencil that landed underneath Kenor's desk...

Kenor wasn't a kind of person to have a violent response, oh dear no... Well, he was the kind of person to still target someone, so he unsurprisingly decided to go ahead and give the kid a kick in his butt just as a form of pay back. He wasn't going to just let that slide unless it was small, of course. It wasn't a hard kick, but it still probably hurt.

"Eep!" Spencer winced and fell over, as he was balancing himself on his knees, and fell forward with his nose pressed to the floor. A few eyes glanced at them a bit a few times but no one thought anything weird of it really. The new kid wasn't that interesting to the class just yet.

Spencer grumbled and blushed a bit still though. He hated how his first day was going. It wasn't the worst thing ever but this certainly wasn't quelling his nerves. He rubbed his butt as it throbbed a tiny bit from that bit of pain. He looked over at Kenor's legs and grumbled.

He was very quiet and non-combative but he also tended to let pent up frustration fester within him because of that. When shit wasn't fair and he still let people walk all over him, it never turned into a memory he could laugh at down the line.

Spencer grabbed his pencil... but he then tied Kenor's shoelaces together before crawling out from underneath the desk.

"I uh... got my pencil... I think your foot accidently brushed up against me though. Hehe." Spencer said, sitting down. He knew full well it was done on purpose though.

"No, I kicked you. To get even, you know." He said with a small smile and then looked down for a moment. Oh he felt something off with his shoes. You see, unlike a lot of people, Kenor was a bit of a pro. A literal pro, so to speak. He was aware that Spencer was down there for a little longer than it should have taken, and he could feel his shoes being played with.

Instead of doing something about it immediately though, he just sat there, smiling at Spencer. He was on to him already...

Spencer was not a pro though. He was the opposite of a pro. In fact, he had never really tried "getting back" at someone before. Not really. He was expecting a bit more of a humbling comeback from Kenor despite knowing he kicked him on purpose. Being told straight up that he was kicked and being smiled at like that surprised him.

Heat rose from his head just then. His head felt really hot. He was angry? Yeah. This bothered him quite a bit. His heart was even beating a bit more. Still, Spencer forced himself to keep smiling despite his uncomfortably heated head and his faster beating heart, all signs of reluctant, frustrated, anger rising within a person, and tried his best to re-focus on his paper.

His hands were even more shaky now, due to how mad he knew he had to be. Plus he was a bit more sweaty as a result. It sucked. This was his first day and he'd already been triggered.

He didn't know how good Kenor was at this so he anticipated seeing him try and stand up when class was over at the very least.

Kenor seemed to notice that he got on Spencer's nerves and couldn't help but get a bit of a grin on his face as he watched him walk away. Already, he was beginning to plot on how to mess with him some more before they both went down their separate paths. Right now though, they were currently working on stuff and he didn't want to fail or get sent to the office.

Fast forwards a little bit and Kenor would be packing his stuff into his back pack, which sat on the floor against on of his desk's legs. There, he saw his shoe laces were indeed tied and just sighed and shook his head lightly. He proceeded to untie them and retie them. The entire time though, he was currently bent over in his seat. If Spencer wanted some sort of revenge, now was the time.
