The time was about 3:30 PM, and a certain someone was just waking up. She hardly had a recollection of what happened, nor any idea where she was, but grumbled and whined as she stirred awake. When she did, she tried to stretch her arms a bit and yawned, opening her eyes as she looked around. When she finally gazed at her surroundings, she was in a place she only vaguely recognized as some kind of medical room, yet it felt a lot more...comforting? Was that the word? The only other person in the room seemed to be a nurse, and she seemed preoccupied with something. So she could only try to speak up to get her attention. "Uhm, excuse me ma'am, but...where am I..."

"Well good afternoon little miss sleepy head!" The nurse said, smiling. "You are in a facility." She added. The nurse was filling out paperwork which documented the girl who had just woken up. "You had a bit of a breakdown and we were called in to deal with it. Don't worry sweetie you'll be taken care of." She added. Once the paperwork was filled out she walked over to the girl and began to inspect her bedsheets.

She watched as the nurse got close to check the bedsheets, unsure of what to do. "I'm...in a facility...? W-Wait, t-this is just some weird dream, right? I'm n-not actually in one, a-am I...? It was her best attempt at trying to wave this off. As the nurse got closer and closer, she seemed a little nervous, trying to back away from her somewhat in the bed until she just about fell out of it, fumbling onto the ground...right onto that cute little lion tail of hers. "O-Ow...!"

Effortlessly the nurse picked her up and placed her back on the bed. "No this isn't a dream, miss. Yes you are in a facility. Fussing and resisting won't help anything." The nurse said. The bedsheets were dry and the nurse smiled. "Dry sheets! That's lovely." She said. "Alright I'll be right back, I need to deliver your paperwork to the front desk." The nurse said, leaving the room with the paperwork.

The lion girl seemed quite worried as she realized where she was, even moreso as she was kept in the bed by the nurse before she left. All that she could do was look around the room and try to figure out what to do. On one end of the room, she could see her bag that she brought with her whenever she needed to head somewhere, and a small mirror. All she could do was awkwardly go to pick up her possessions and look at herself in the mirror while waiting for someone else to come and do something.

Soon the nurse returned and chuckled as she saw the girl holding her back. "Sweetie put that down, please. I need to take you to the evaluation room. You are one step closer to meeting your caregiver!" She said happily. The nurse took the bag and placed it down before holding the girls hand and taking her to the evaluation room. The girl was placed in a chair while her paperwork was given to a machine to process. Once it was done the nurse smiled and looked at the girl. "Your caregiver has been found! Wait here, miss." She said, leaving the room.

"B-But this is my bag..." She whined a little as she tried to take it back, only to fall back onto her rear. As she was escorted about, the white lion girl pouted and gazed around, trying to get used to this sort of environment. She didn't want to be here for long, especially when she had better things to do. "I don't need a caretaker though...it was just a one-time thing, ma'am..."

A few minutes passed before a big lion mommy plush walked into the room. She had on a light blue dress with a frilly apron, a diaper bag, and a huge smile on her face. She examined the girl in front of her, easily towering over her before embracing her in a gentle hug. "Hello little one. It's so nice to meet you!" She said in a soothing motherly voice. "I am gonna be your temporary caregiver while you are here at this lovely facility." She said.

The lion girl was almost shocked when she saw the plushie, horrified by how it towered over her. She didn’t know what to say even as it hugged her. Then, she finally spoke up. “Wait…temporary…? I thought that I got matched…?”

"You will spend a full day here being taken care of by me, and when. You leave you will be matched with a full time caregiver, darling." The lion plush said. Effortlessly she picked the girl up and carried her to a different room. This room was a fully stocked nursery, for a baby girl of her size.
