MLP: Spike’s Babying (private with zero2501)

It is the end of the school day. Ember is visiting for the week and she wants to see what exactly the students do at the school, so she followed Smolder around for the day.

“You know, Smolder. The school does seem nice,” Ember said. “But I do have questions. Is Spike YOUR teacher? He looks young, so I thought that he would be your classmate.”

"I know, right?! he is so small, aparently he grew up by greed before and all, but I think it's just that the ponies don't know how dragons work" ember said, a small chuckle coming as she said that.


as the 2 were walking, a cough sound was heard, being no other than spike looking slightly annoyed as he heard everything. though, having to look at the 'student and mom' up in front made it obvious that what they were saying was kinda true

(Oh, wait. I thought that I was playing Ember.)

“So… how old is Spike exactly?” Ember asked curiously.

(oh, sorry, meant to put smolder, not ember, my mistake)


"actually...I don't know, I never really asked, he recently got his wing, so maybe like 50...ish?" smolder said, not really sure what spike age was, maybe it would be worth asking


spike was getting more annoyed at how the 2 were talking about him, as he just started to fake cough more to try to get their atention even more

“So, Spike. How old are you exactly?” Ember asked him.

"yeah, can you count that high though? maybe we should ask principal twilight" smolder said, as she was preparing to just search for her.


"hey, i'm not a baby, i'm 16" spike said, not even using dragon years, but pony years, as that meant he was way younger thanwhat smolder even thought

“Hmm… he looks way younger than 16. You know, he is a baby compared to us.”

"yeah, do you even know dragon years or are you too young to know how they work?" smolder asks, sounding a bit smug as she fly next to spike


"w-well, its...umh..." spike said, now sounding really embarrassed, he didn't even knew dragons had different years than ponies, how was he suppose to answer now

“You know, that does give me a little idea for some fun. I am sure that Spike is going to like this. Okay, let’s make a shopping list and we will set something up in Spike’s bedroom soon.”

smolder heard ember, as she stopped getting closer to spike, a small grin on her face as she left, preparing to go with ember to their shopping spree

as a few hours passed, as it was now finally night and spike was preparing to go to his room in the friendship castle, he started to open his door, not expecting what he was going to see as he forgot about the little talk he had with ember and smolder earlier today
