The Neko Stray (private)

One night, a successful business woman was walking the street, finishing up her holiday shopping. Her warm ebony coat was pulled tightly over her thin slender frame, a comfortable black leather ivy cap adorned her head, contrasted against her snow while locks. Her emerald green eyes were almost piercing. She was making her way down the street, carrying a bag with her shopping. She was humming to herself and thinking of the fire she had burning at home. Though when she passed one of the final alleys before her apartment building, she herd a soft mew, almost pained as she looked down the alley she saw a small cardboard box and frowned, fearing the worst. She made her way towards the box and opened it.

Inside the bad was a small baby neko shivering backed into the coner of the box scared she's dirty and a little beat up and looks up at the woman with scared innocent eyes

She's small with light brown hair and dark green eyes she's wearing a tattered shirt and tattered pants with some bruises around her body she can barely move on her own

The woman's heart just sank at the sight of her, she slowly reached her hand out into the box. Though she paused and pulled one of her gloves off, hoping not to frighten her. "It's okay dear.. I'm not going to hurt you.. what's your name.." The woman asked in a beautifully soft voice. She wondered who would ever hurt something so cute and innocent. "Hey look.. we have similar eyes.." She cooed as they indeed did have similarly colored eyes.

Shee started to calm when she herds the woman's soft and gentle voice but she was still on high alert as she watched the woman carefully and after a short moment she finally began to speak "m-mwy names Amy w-what's yours" she stammered as she said it in a scared innocent voice

The woman smiled as she kept her hand right where it was, not moving it any closer for fear of scaring the little neko unnecessarily. "That's a really pretty name Amy.. it's nice to meet you. My name is Cerumi." She stated kindly hoping to ease the poor thing. "It's really cold out here.. would you like to come home with me and warm up?" She offered as she knelt down a little more and offered two open arms. "I don't mind carrying you.."

She shivers cold as she she slowly crept towards her and once she realizes she safe she cries and hugs cerumi

"Awe.. that's it sweetie.. it's okay Amy..I've got you kitten.." She cooed sweetly as she returned the hug, standing up with Amy firmly in her arms. Then Cerumi patted the young kitten's back a few times. "Awe.. don't cry.." She opened her coat and stuck Amy partially inside to keep her warmer, pressed firmly to her chest. Then she pulled out a tissue and gently wiped up Amy's tears for her as she started walking the final block to her front door.

Amy prrrrrs as she continues to cry and burries her face into cerumi's chest as she firmly hugs not letting go

Cerumi's heart flutters a little for the poor little kitten as she just continues to hold her closely and rub her back gently as they make their way inside the warm lobby and over to the elevator. Cerumi scans a key card and then enters the elevator pressing a button fairly near to the top. "Sh.. sh.. it's okay Amy.. we're almost to my place.. then we'll get you all cleaned up and fed.. how's that sound..?"
