Pretty Pet Slave (private with Emerald)

In another world, humans coexisted with human-animal hybrids. There existed those who spoke the same tongues and walked on two legs, but they had more distinctive facets, mostly in the form of facial features. But one of these individuals would find herself in a most bizarre situation before too long.

The eyes of the woman slowly opened as she yawned and stretched, getting out of the bed she slept in. She had a fairly normal day ahead of her, heading to the academy that she attended, but she wanted to at least look her best before leaving. Slowly, she focused on getting herself ready, brushing her teeth, combing her hair, properly grooming that wolf tail of hers...the same sort of schedule she normally had. But that would change quite soon.

This academy was one of the most prestigious in the land. Only the brightest students were allowed to attend, though some students' parents may have made generous donations on their children's behalf. Such was the case of a busty blond upperclassman, who was the target of affection of most of the boys and the envy of most of the girls.

In truth, it rubbed her the wrong way to see someone who was just so average doing so well in such a place. Humans and hybrids alike fawning all over her, both for her looks and wealth. Compared to her, she felt like she was nothing. Even worse...it felt like she was picked on especially by her.

The young blond heiress, named Niobe Fallington, made a habit of flaunting her wealth, prestige, and status to all. Everyone loved her for it, and yet that one wolf-girl never seemed to pay her any mind. This angered Niobe, who had thus made it her mission to get the wolf-girl.

The wolf woman, known only as Lyra Redwood to most students, really didn't like Niobe or her treatment of her. So she would always ignore her. Even on the way to school, she intended on ignoring her, regardless of what would happen...but she wouldn't really be able to ignore what was about to happen today.

Niobe and her entourage lingered at the pathway between the dorms and the academy. She stood with her arms folded and waited for the wolf-girl to approach. "Well, it took you long enough to get here," she said drily as Lyra approached.

Lyra didn't even really bother as she heard Niobe speak, sighing and holding her bag quietly. Her tail occasionally wagged from side to side, but she wasn't interested in the slightest. Traffic was already noisy whenever she had to get to the academy, but somehow the rich girl was even noisier.

Niobe expected her to try to ignore her, as she always did. But it would not be that simply. Niobe moved to step in front of Lyra, blocking her way to the academy. "Not to fast, Redwood. There's something I have on my person which would you really should know about."
