The very foundation of Equestrian society shook as the rubble was cleared and ponies were calmed down. There had been an attack on the capital, something most ponies wanted to stop happening, though this attack in particular had succeeded, sort of. Somepony had gotten their hooves on an ancient artifact that they used to cast a spell on Princess Celestia, Luna, and Twilight, bringing all three of them to the age of young fillies.

Unfortunately this pony had incorrectly assumed that, as foals, the three Princesses would be completely under their control and easy to use as hostages, suffice to say, all three of there were still mentally the same ponies. Meaning that they were not simply held with ease, and as such, soon coordinated with the guards by merely dodging their captor, and without guaranteed hostages, there was nothing stopping said guards from capturing them and taking them into custody.

That just left the issue of the three young Princesses, truthfully it was supposed to be four of them, but Cadance had been late so she'd missed out on joining them. Of course Twilight's friends were also attending so they were there as well. In fact all of them were in a room together going over how they would proceed with things for the time being.

Cadance, while completely understanding the seriousness of the situation, could barely contain herself as she stood in the room, the three other Princesses had all been sat upon a bed, all three of them diapered. (It seemed Luna had demonstrated why they needed those shortly after they had been turned into foals.) They wore plain white diapers, there hadn't been any time for anything but that to be available, not to mention whomever had gotten them had likely thought the Princesses wouldn't enjoy more infantile diapers.

At the moment none of the other elements of harmony had been allowed in the room, though some of them were helping out with things around the castle right now too.

Twilight Sparkle paces back and forth on the bed in Princess Celestia's bedroom. Naturally, the Princess of Friendship and one of the Heroes of Equestria, was not particularly happy about having been reduced to a foal, her frown deepening with each crinkle she heard from the diaper taped around her flank. However, as embarrassing as it was, the part that truly bothered her the most about all this was that there was a sort of...fog in her head about the whole affair. She remembered meeting Celestia and Luna in the throne room and later the guards leading a prisoner away and helping them, but the moment of the actual attack and, more importantly the magic that had done this to them, was a blur. The frustration of not knowing what exactly had been done to them was just as bothersome to Twilight as her padded bum...well almost.

Celestia and Luna for their part are in the far corner of the bed, the former having her hooves wrapped around the latter to help her calm down. Luna had taken their situation the worst, mostly because she had been the one to "demonstrate" their newfound need for diapers by having an...accident on the first guard that went to help her. The usually stoic Princess of the Night was now sulking with her hooves crossed, looking like she was on the verge of bursting into tears or even throwing a tantrum, all the while her older sister continually coos at her and hugs her to keep her calm.

At the sound of the door opening, all three turn to see the fourth princess.

"Cadence!" Twilight cries in delight, and without warning jumps from the bed and jumps onto her sister-in-law's leg. "Oh I'm so glad you're here. This is nightmare!" All though Twilight can't help but start to blush a little as she realizes she just performed her usual reaction from when Cadence used to be her foalsitter.

Cadance suddenly found herself the recipient of Twilight's affection, it was so hard not to think back on the past right now as this tiny foal attached to her leg. "A nightmare huh? I mean, I can imagine.." Cadance said as she looked at them, she got enough of dirty diapers at home, the idea of coming here and letting Shining handle that front while she was gone had been one of the best perks of this trip, low and behold she'd only managed to give herself more work, and if Flurry was any indication Cadance was more than a little worried about that these three could do.

"Well. What do you know? I wasn't here, none of the others told me anything, they just rushed me here as quickly as they could." Cadance said as she brought Twilight back onto the bed. "I can't say I'm all that knowledgeable on age based magic." There was likely nopony who was outside of Twilight, Celestia or Luna, Twilight because she was a huge nerd, and Celestia and Luna because they were Celestia and Luna.

The only thing she knew about age magic was that you needed to be hella' powerful to even get it to work in the first place, but Cadance was aware that some sort of artifact was involved, though she didn't know if the artifact just made somepony powerful enough to use that magic, or if it was designed specifically to make ponies younger, something about making a specific 'thing' to do a certain magic could make that magic easier.. Cadance shook her head, she did not even know most of what she was thinking about beyond a basic level anyway.

As she noticed Celestia comforting Luna, assuming that Luna must have been the one to 'show off' their need for diapers, otherwise she didn't imagine any of the guards or other staff would have had the courage to even suggest diapers. "Well, whatever happened, it can't be all that long lasting, or should be reversible." Cadance may have missed being turned into a foal, but given her experience with Alicorn foals, she almost wished she had arrived sooner.

"Indeed," Celestia nods, as she still tries to comfort Luna, who upon hearing Cadence's entrance had pulled a pillow over to shield herself as much as possible. "Unfortunately, while we still seem to have our memories and "adult" minds, I'm afraid our control over our magic is a bit...limited at the moment. So I'm afraid we won't be much help in finding a cure or reversing it."

"Yeah...," Twilight sighs, still hanging onto Cadence as if by reflex. "What's weirdest to me though is that I can't even remember the spell or artifact that was used on us. Honestly, everything that happened in the throne room is kind of a blur," she turns to Celestia and Luna. "Do either of you remember anything?"

"I'm afraid not," Celestia says, shaking her head. Luna doesn't reply, but seems to shake her head behind the pillow. "Come now sister," Celestia says scooting closer. "I realize you're upset about this "situation" but we're all in the same boat so there's no need to be so bashful. Besides it's not like Cadence of all ponies is going to mock you or anything." She strokes Luna's mane to try and calm her down, while also trying to genty work the pillow out of her hooves.

"Hm." Cadence said, unsure of how to take that information, she figured they wouldn't be all that much help, if anything she'd prefer they not use their magic as much as possible, but the fact that they didn't know what had happened with the magic? That was odd, odd and bad. "Well, they should still have the artifact right? I'm sure we can just look at it, look it up and then go from there, easy." Cadence mentioned, still hoping there would be an easy solution to all of this.

"Though in the meantime, uh, how do you want to deal with this? Like, it's probably going to take some time to fix this. So uh, how do we proceed here?" Cadence questioned, Celestia was basically the pony in charge of everything in Equestria, even as a foal she'd differ to what Celestia thought on things.

"Well, about that..." Twilight says, biting her lip. "We don't know what happened to the artifact either. Rainbow Dash and Rarity are scouring the castle for it now, but since we don't actually remember what happened it's kind of hard to tell them what to look for...." Twilight sighs, and starts to climb up onto Cadences back, half it seems by reflex and half because she wants to be more comfortable.

"In the meantime, I think it would be best if we keep this quiet," Celestia says. "After all I think we can all agree that there could be quite the panic if the citizens of Equestria were to learn that all three of us were...indisposed like this."

"I agree," Luna says, finally speaking up. Celestia has pulled the pillow down, but Luna has responded by diving beneath the covers. "And I will not be leaving this room until this humiliating transformation is undone!"

"Oh come now sister," Celestia sighs and starts trying to pull her back out. "Getting all worked up like this isn't going to improve our situation."

"Well, that certainly makes things more difficult, but it's not like it could have just vanished, I'm sure somepony will find it before too long, after all how hard could it be to spot some kind of artifact?" Cadence went on. Nodding her head at Celestia's assessment. "Though Luna might have the right idea, how are you going to leave this room without other ponies assuming who you are? I don't think anypony would believe I had three other foals, especially ones that look suspiciously like their Princesses." Cadence told them.

"Maybe we can find a spell to at least change your appearances if we need to take you out of the castle." Cadence wasn't sure if the three of them would be all that eager to accept their current status, especially Luna.

"I don't care if we have a spell," Luna says, going further under the covers, all though she doesn't seem to realize that this causes her to stick her diapered rump into the air. "I'm not leaving this room until we're back to normal!" Celestia sighs and turns to Cadence with a shrug. Clearly Luna is taking this worse than they realized.

"Well I don't know if I'd go that far, but we should probably wait a little before trying to leave," Twilight says from Cadence's back, before blushing a bit as she realizes where she is. "Oh...uh....sorry Cadence, I didn't mean to...climb on you like that." She blushes more and tries to climb off, all though she has to admit she feels surprisingly comfortable.

"In any case," Celestia speaks up after suppressing a chuckle at Twilight's reaction. "If we are going to stay in here for a while, we might want to....well...spruce it up I suppose." Celestia gestures to her bedroom. "I mean, I didn't exactly decorate with sharing this room with two others in mind..."

After having Flurry trapezing about on her body, Twilight was nothing, and it only served to remind her of times long past, making her feel nostalgic. Listening to them, Luna is probably going to sulk the whole time, at least Celestia seems optimistic, but Cadence is a little confused by Celestia's statement. "I mean.. I suppose." Did Celestia know something she didn't or was she just thinking ahead? Redecorating the room, did Celestia think they would be stuck like this for a long enough period for that to be a prudent action? "You do all fit on the bed though, but, mm.." Cadence was doing her best to not mention anything foalish, especially with how Luna was sulking.

Obviously a crib would be more fitting, or rails of some kind, they might have been Alicorn foals, but a foal rolling out of bed and onto the floor could still get hurt. Obviously another item would be a changing table, three foals meant three times the diapers, and diapers were meant to be changed on changing tables, even if she didn't think she'd have to worry about any of the three in front of her complicating matters during a change, foals were foals after all, you had to expect things to get messy even if these weren't foals mentally.

"Though it would take a few hours to get in all the needed things so suddenly, especially if we want to make sure it doesn't cause any rumors." Cadence mentioned, the idea of some of the castle staff going out and buying foal furnishings and other items would have the nobles of Canterlot in an uproar of rumors.
