“Oh and that’s the beauty of it sweetie. I get to have a baby without doing any of the work. Maybe when I let you grow up you can be introduced as my long lost sibling but until then.” She kissed his forehead. “Baby.”

While Bowen was still very nervous about this whole situation, namely how this apparently unhinged woman had abducted him and declared him her baby, he was taken aback by the kiss she planted on his forehead. It was strangely warm and maternal, almost made him feel at ease. He had forgotten what that was like.

“Now what to do first…” She said as she paused and looked at him as she smacked her lips, trying to figure out what mothers usually did with their babies.

"I... I am actually a little thirsty," Bowen confessed, realizing how dry his lips and throat were. "Could I... please have something to drink?"

She grinned as she picked him up and made sure he was still restrained before she exposed her breast. “Drink up sweetie.” Now, she couldn’t actually breast feed, but given it was her, it was better for him just to go along with it.

Bowen was quite surprised by this sudden action, and its forwardness. He was initially compelled to turn away, but when he saw the queen’s gorgeous bust up close, he was inexplicably drawn to it. He slowly brought his mouth to one of Cersei’s nipples and latched on, beginning to suckle slowly. He didn’t expect anything to come out, though he did know the queen had been pregnant at least three times before. So it was still possible.

(I’m totally cool with actual breastfeeding, just so you know)

(Yeah, I was thinking she’d wonder why no milk was coming out before taking some medicine that would allow her to breastfeed .)

Cersei grinned as her baby fed from her chest. “That’s right baby, be a good boy for Mummy.” She cooed as she tickled his back. As this happened, she realized her chest felt.. different, then when she breast fed before. As if nothing was coming out.

(That works. Also, there are no doctors in this franchise. Instead, they have individuals known as “Maesters.” The one in Cersei’s employ at this point is Maester Qyburn, just so you know the name of who’d she consult)

Bowen was actually a little disappointed that nothing came out, as he was rather thirsty, and to get milk from the queen herself would’ve been a real privilege

Queen Lannister then started burping him, as was natural after feeding any baby. Though she should make sure to consult her Maester after this, just to make sure everything was fine.

Qyburn informed her that as it had been over 10 years since she last carried a pregnancy to term, she had not been able to lactate for some time. Luckily, he was easily able to remedy that by providing her a draught which would enable her to produce milk once again. “Only the finest for the new prince, Your Grace,” he insisted with a smile
