RWBY : Melting the ice with a gentle touch (Moemura)

Velvet scarlatina a rabbit faunus and a member of CFVY was smiling and hugging her best friend and team leader Coco Adel as her partner was heading home for spring break while she stays here at beacon as her family were already Huntress's doing missions and other important things. Velvet released the hug. "Have fun with your family Coco and stay out of trouble OK?"

Coco chuckled and playfully shook her head. "Don't worry about me velvet I'll be on my best behavior I don't need you going Mommy mode on me" she teased. "Anyway I'm going to go see you later" she turned around and headed to the airship with other students following.

Velvet was blushing due to Coco's teasing about her being motherly which she couldn't control it was her instincts.

Winter Schnee who arrived in her family's personal Airship a few minutes ago smiled watching the last few students enter the the other airship watching the door close and it started to fly away from beacon. "I arrived at a perfect time" she pulled a suitcase which contained everything she'll need for her stay.

Winter headed inside the school heading to Weiss's room not knowing exactly where it was however her sister should know of her arrival.

Pyrrha was in her room with just Nora who had finished packing. "So, you are heading all the way to Argus?" the redhead asked the energetic huntress, "You know, I am from there. It's actually quite nice this time of year."

"I know," Nora replied, "That's why me and Ren are hurrying to catch the last airship otherwise we'll be stuck here of the whole day. You sure you don't want to come with us?"

Pyrrha shook her head no. "Afraid I can't," she denied, "I should use the time to train and perfect my skills. Besides, there are a few other members of Beacon staying so I won't be all alone."

Nora nodded her head as she grabbed her bags. "Okay, then I guess I'll be going," she said, "Ren is probably waiting for me at the front gates. I'll see you next week." The young redhead left, leaving Pyrrha all alone. Jaune is already away with his family and all of Team RWBY, the team next door to her team, was away. All except one, that is.

Weiss was finally alone after a very, very long goodbye hug from Ruby. She did like the girl as well as the other of her teammates but sometimes they can be too much for the young Atlesian woman. Deciding to relax she decided to read up on some advanced huntsman skills from books she checked out at the library.

"Now this one looks impressive," she noted, flipping the pages, "But seems to be very dangerous." The young girl kept on reading, unaware that she was getting a visitor from home.

Velvet continued watching other students get on the airship as the one Coco got on took off already. "I just realized it's probably going to be so quite here at beacon" she spoke to herself as she was over time she got used to being dragged by Coco to go shopping constantly or being pulled into team RWBY's shenanigans. "Now that I think of team RWBY all saw all of them leave accept Weiss is she staying here at beacon as well" she muttered. Ignoring the looks of confusion people were giving her.

Velvet stopped talking to herself as she saw another airship landed in front of the school but this one had the Schnee logo. "I guess I was right about Weiss staying here" she saw a older women who looked like Weiss step out of the airship pulling a suitcase with her. "That must be Weiss's older sister and she's staying here"

Velvet chuckled and headed inside the school a few feet behind winter.

Winter looked around the school as she walked around the school trying to find her sister's room. "I just got here and I'm already lost this is not professional" she stopped walking and pulled out her scroll only to it was dead which made the Schnee frown "I told Sebastian to make sure my electronics are charged that Butler is going to get it when I get home" winter growled. As she put away her scroll an orange her girl (Nora) ran passed her irritating the older Schnee. "I can't believe my dear sister chose beacon over Atlas they have no manners"

Winter stopped at a random door and knocked thinking she found her sister's dorm unaware it was literally behind her.

Velvet heard everything the Schnee woman said thanks to her hearing which was better than humans and she was about to get the woman's attention but was afraid to at the moment as the woman was a bit angry and she didn't want to upset the woman even more so she stayed silent as she watched the woman knock on team JNPR's door.

Pyrrha was just getting her shoes on, wearing her usual Beacon uniform, when she heard a knock on her door. The redhead was a bit confused as she walked towards it. Just who could it be? Jaune had left hours ago so could it be Nora? Did the girl forget something? Walking towards the front door she opened it up.

"Hello?" she asked, seeing that the person knocking on her door was an older woman with white hair and few suitcases. Looking at them she noticed the Schnee Dust Company logo. Could she be a relative of Weiss? Pyrrha did recall hearing from Weiss that she had a sister one time. "Er..hi?" the redhead spoke, "Can I help you with something?"

Weiss was still in her dorm room, unaware of what was going on outside her door. The young girl still think she wasn't getting any company so she remained seated on her bed, reading her books as she heard some mumbling outside. "Is Nora still here?" she muttered to herself, unaware that it was now her sister seeing Pyrrha right outside.

Velvet took a deep breath trying to figure out who this woman was and she wanted to help but it was to late as Pyrrha already was already taking care of that then she remembered something importantant which made the rabbit Faunus hit her forehead. She had Weiss's number in her scroll as the two been getting along after Blake told her what happened when her own team found out she was a cat Faunus as Blake finished talking velvet hugged her fellow Faunus feeling sorry she went through so much.

A week passed then and velvet summoned all her courage and went up to Weiss and introduced herself properly sure things were rough for the both of them in the beginning but they hit it off after spending a whole day together

She remembered helping Weiss during a storm it turned out Weiss was afraid of thunder storms so velvet of course comforted the young girl and it was there own little secret. Velvet pulled out her scroll and started to text Weiss.

, Come outside their is a woman looking for you she said she was your sister, velvet sent the message.

Winter let out a sigh glad someone answered but her eyes widened who it was Pyrrha Nikos the mascot of pumpkin Pete's cereal and lastly known as the untouchable warrior of course winter knew this because she looked up information about Pyrrha and no one knew this but winter Schnee was also a big fan of Pyrrha's it took a lot of will power for winter to not fan girl at the moment but a blush was across her face.

She cleared her throat. "Hello my name is Winter Schnee i was wondering if you knew my sister? as she is attending beacon her name is Weiss"

Weiss was jotting down some notes her her bedroom when she heard her scroll buzz. Reaching into her pocket the young girl pulled it out and saw a message from Velvet. She wondered if the Faunus had left for somewhere for Spring Break or decided to stay put like the white-haired was doing now. Reading the message Weiss almost dropped her scroll when she read that her sister was here. It was quite a rare thing for the girl to get a visit from her elder sister given that Winter's status in the Altesian military made her quite busy.

Dropping what she was doing the girl got up and rushed to her door, stopping to calm herself as she remembered how proper Winter behaves and expects the same from her little sister. Taking a deep breath Weiss opened the door to see that Winter was already talking with Pyrrha.

"Oh, hi there," the redhead spoke, "I am actually Weiss' neighbor, so I am sorry if my door was the wrong one you knocked." Pyrrha took note of the blush from Winter's face and wondered what the older woman was embarrassed about. Then she turned her attention to Weiss, standing right behind them. "Weiss is right behind you, actually," the girl added.

Winter managed to calm her blush down thankfully as she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of her idol. "It's fine it was my mistake and it won't happen again" she turned around and saw her sister. "It's nice to see you dear sister I came to beacon to see how you were doing and not slacking off it would be bad for our family if you fail and father would be upset" she spoke firmly.

Velvet decided to step in thinking the woman was being to tough on her sister. "Excuse me I'm sorry to interrupt you but Weiss's grades and she's been on her best behavior she hasn't done anything...my name is velvet scarlatina by the way" she spoke nervously.

Winter turned her attention to the rabbit Faunus who walked up to them and started to stick to for her sister then introduce herself. "My name is Winter and I'm glad hear my sister has been doing well and keeping up our family name"

She turned to Weiss and the two starred at each other for a few seconds then winter let out a sigh. "Who I'm kidding Weiss the reason I came here was to take a break my job it's quite stressful so I sneaked away and came to beacon.

Velvet smiled as she she listened to Winter . "So you ran away from your job because you desperately want a break from it isn't that going to cause trouble and I'm assuming you're tired of playing miss perfect as well which you'll be able to do because your father is not around?"

Winter looked at velvet "I called an old acquaintance of mine and she will take care of things and yes I'm tired of playing miss perfect 24/7" she turned to her sister. "I want us to bond again like when we were younger"

Weiss looked a little flustered over the usual banter her sister delivers her. "If you must know my grades are quite exceptional," the white-haired responded as politely as she could. Then there was that word that just irked her so much deep down: father. Then she noticed Velvet walking in and giving out pretty much what Weiss just said seconds ago. Even though she was handling this well on her own Weiss was glad there was still someone in Beacon sticking up for her.

Pyrrha was still standing by the doorway, wanting to walk back into her room but didn't walk away because she thought it would be impolite. She decided it was best to just remain there until the two Schnee sisters returned to the room across the redhead's.

When Weiss heard that Winter snuck out the young woman was quite surprised. The sister who corrected her for being even a slight notch away from acting like a proper lady was playing hooky from her work. "Y...you did?" she asked, trying not to act so shocked. When she heard Velvet responded the young woman panicked a little, thinking that the Faunus would probably get a lecture of a lifetime. Instead, another confession came from Winter which stunned Weiss even greater. Though the offer that came afterward did pique the girl's interest.

"Y...you do?" she asked her sister.

Winter looked at velvet and Pyrrha than back at Weiss. "Look can we talk about this in your room I'm starting to feel... uncomfortable no offense Pyrrha and velvet" she spoke quickly hoping the two she just met are not upset.

"No winter I'm not upset and I'm sure Pyrrha isn't eather in fact I think we should be the ones to apologize I mean here we are listening to a private family matter" velvet spoke quickly as well. Feeling embarrassed she grabbed Winter's things and put them in Weiss's room.

"Well it is getting pretty crowded in here," Weiss admitted, looking towards Pyrrha.

"Uh...sorry," the redhead apologized. Immediately Pyrrha stepped into her bedroom and closed the door. Taking a deep sigh of relief she thought about Winter for a second. She got to meet the woman for the first time and she couldn't explain why but there was something about the elder sister that she liked.

Once Winter's bags were relocated into Weiss' bedroom the younger sister walked into the room and waited for Winter to follow inside.
