So not that anyone cares, but I'm leaving. People either never answer my requests, answer my requests and then conveniently forget then get mad when I bring it up, or just stop roleplaying all together then claim "oh I'm just busy I'll get around to it." then reply to everyone but me. No point in leaving any contact info.

I'll put it to ya this way; I'm a mod on this site, been here for years, and a lot of the time *my* RP requests have gone completely unanswered, or answered by flakey-people.

That's the nature of a forum, and forum-based RPing. It's been like this since PRETTY MUCH the beginning of time. I mean, you can go even further back to oldschool Gaia Online and sites like ADISC and TBN; sometimes, threads just die.

RPing is, for all intents and purposes, a loose, collaborative storytelling method. Using that creative energy has its limits and, for some folks, getting to a point where they're just tired and need a while to recharge can come more quickly than for others.

What I CAN say is, if you like RPing but find others to be too flakey; try writing a full fledged story! It's a lot of fun, and the planning can be completely minimalist or REALLY detailed. I've done both, and I really enjoy the craft! Plus, it gives you a good opportunity to work on buildup, storytelling concepts, elaborating on descriptions, and so on. It REALLY is a lot of fun, and still lets you contribute to the community!
