Sasuke VS Josuke

If you were to say all was peaceful in the Village of Konoha, you'd be lying. While everything did indeed appear to be calm and serene, outside of the village near the gates was a different story.

Two genin stood a ways apart. One known as the famous Sasuke Uchiha of the Uchiha clan, donning his usual white covers on his forearms, blue shirt with the massive collar, white shorts and bandages around his calves.

The other was a lesser known genin, by the name of Josuke Gonzukai. He wore an emerald green necklace, black shirt with a white hood, dark blue shorts and mesh covers on his forearms and calves.

This confrontation was a challenge.

"I hear the Uchiha clan is known for it's fire Tech. Same thing for the Gonzukai. I want to see which is better." Josuke delcared.

Sasuke looked at Josuke curious. He tried to remember what he knew about the kid from the academy but his mind drew a blank. He scanned the kid trying to figure out what he wanted. He was curious as to why the boy was trying to challenge him.

It did not really matter though. Sasuke was confident that his fire technique was considered the best in the Hidden Leaf Village. Seeing as the Uchiha had taught the other members how to use true fire jutsu but Sasuke's came from the clan which gave him a slight advantage over the other ninjas.

He stared into Josuke's eyes directly and said, "Are you sure? The Uchiha's are the best fire jutsu users in the world and you wish to challenge their heir. Very well then."

Without warning Sasuke made a few handsigns. Mi,hijutsu, saru, i, uma, tora. He used the jutsu saying, "Firestyle: Fireball Jutsu

(Sorry I had to go eat something. Hadn't eaten all day.)

Josuke immediately recognized the jutsu Sasuke was performing and imitated the seals just as fast. All of Josuke's tech were based around fire type jutsu, so the fireball jutsu was child's play to him. "Firestyle: Fireball Jutsu!" He exhaled a fire ball around the same time as Sasuke's, the techniques clashing head on.

Sasuke examined the work of the fire jutsu the two genins had produced. They seemed to clash quite equally. Sasuke smirked at the thought of the challenge. He smiled and said, "Let's see how good your accuracy is though."

Sasuke made the handsigns Ne, tora, inu, ushi, tora. "Firestyle: Pheonix Flower Jutsu."

Sasuke proceeded to hit different trees around the area hitting them perfectly in the same spot at the base of the tree. 18 trees had been hit at the same spot making it perfect accuracy for the Uchiha.

Josuke looked around and swallowed a bit. He didn't have alot of experience with the phoenix flower jutsu, but he had something that was just as good. He leapt into the air and peformed a series of seals before opening his eyes. "Firestyle: Fire Barrage!" He then spun and began to exhale a chain of fireballs, all hitting directly where Sasuke had thrown his own blasts of fire.

Sasuke smiled. The kid had improvised to see if he could copy what Sasuke had done. He saw that the kid was on point which was quite impressive seeing as he did not have the Sharingan to help him.

Sasuke smiled and said, "Alrighty then see if you can do this."

Sasuke took out a kunai with wire and threw it at a tree. He then placed the wire in his mouth and proceeded to make the handsigns, Mi, tatsu, u, tora. "Firestyle: Flame Dragon Jutsu."

A giant fiery dragon appeared and began to head for the trees. It went through the tree and left a hole where it had been. The dragon continued straight until it had left schorched holes in 7 trees.

Josuke looked at that and just laughed. "HAH, Watch THIS!" Josuke then slipped off his necklace, and with it still in hand, performed several seals and then whipped it, the necklace snapping in half and transforming in an eruption of smoke. "Firestyle: Fire Chain Jutsu!" From the smoke, burst force a massive chain, snaking around several trees almost as if it was alive and wrapped around them tightly, and Josuke kept a firm grip on the chain. "IGNITE!" He shouted and the chain exploded in a burst of fire and burned many of the trees to ashes and he swung the burning chain around and then pulled it back to him, it turning back into a necklace and wrapping securely around his neck.

Sasuke was very impressed. He jumped to a high tree so that he could survey the damage that Josuke had just caused opon the forest. He looked around and saw that 5 trees had been completely schorched. He had gotten less trees but had severely burned them.

Sasuke smiled and said, "I'm impressed. You are quite adequate at fire jutsu but I will prevail as the strongest. Sasuke jumped as high as he could. He then prepared to use the fireball jutsu again.

A giant fireball erupted and tore across the sky. When it hit the trees, they instantly burned to ash. There was now a giant crater filled with ash where the fireball had been shot at. Sasuke smiled contently with his work and landed softly on the ground.

Josuke crossed his arms. "Feh..." he then proceeded to make more handsigns and then held out a hand. "This will totally crush you!" He looked over to a tree that was still standing and started to run towards it, pulling his arm back, Though before he could activate the jutsu he.....tripped. And hit the ground. Hard.

Sasuke almost laughed seeing as how dramatic of a moment it was. The simple reason as to why Josuke had tripped was that his chakra was low. He was lucky that he had tripped seeing as he could have died had the jutsu activated and gone wrong.

Sasuke jumped and landed gently next to Josuke and tried to help him up. He was quite impressed with the other genin. He cracked a rare smile and said, "Would you like to get some dangos for lunch?"
