Bart Simpson was so tired of his Fathers abuse and his mothers neglect. Homer didn't love him and Marge didn't want him. He decided to runaway to the only people he viewed as his parents. On a rainy day in Springfield, Bart knocked on the door of his Neighbors Ned and Maud Flanders. The boy had a backpack full of clothes and pull ups ready for the night. He waited for anyone to answer the door.

Maud answered the door, Ned had the boys off at a christian summer camp by Krusty Co. "Bart it's late, shouldn't you be in bed?" she asked bringing him inside. "Tell me nothing happened at your home" she said as she was concerned for him, not because she was a christian, but because she was a mom, and she could tell Bart needed a mother's love right now.

Bart held onto Maud as he was let in the house. He sat at their dinner table and looked up at her. "Im tired of living at my parents house...i...i just cant do it anymore." He said. "I ran away and i was hoping you guys could take me in as your son." He added. He looked at Maud with pleading eyes.

Maud knelt to the boy's eye level "it is not my place under the watch of god to judge your parents Bart, but I know family is something to be treasured, I will not speak badly about either of your parents but Homer was a fool to let you run. Marge is a wonderful lady but she's ignorant and naive of the true nature of your father, so it is in good faith that you are welcome to stay with us for as long as the lord sees fit to bring you the happiness here that you could not find there" she says.

Bart smiled for the first time in a while and hugged Maud tight. He was in tears and repeating thank you over and over again. "This means so much to me thank you!" He said. The boy wiped his eyes and looked at Maud. "You dont mind if i call you guys mom and dad, right?" He asked. Bart twiddled his thumbs while he waited for her response.

(Not really big into breastfeeding, sorry.)

"Thank you...mommy" he said, blushing. The boy held Mauds hand as he was led into a guest room. He tilted his head as the guest room turned out to be a nursery. "Uhh... Im sleeping in here?" He asked. Bart pulled out one of his pull ups from his bag.

Maud smiled and then she saw the pull-up, "Bart, I need you to be honest with me, are you or are you not fully potty trained?" she asked as she was now even more concerned. Pull-ups were enough for a day, but at night, if Bart wasn't fully trained then it would probably be best if he wore a diaper.

"Um....i need pull ups for bedtime..but they leak too much.." Bart said. He looked down in shame and embarrassment. "I have day accidents too.." He added. The boy took his shirt off and looked in his bag for some pajamas.

"Well Bart, I know you probably don't want to hear it, but I think it's best if you wear diapers instead" she says as she picked Bart up and placed him on the nursery changing table.
