A Trainer and her Path (private for Random24 and AmaraDash19)

Mary slowly nodded, "I'm sorry, maybe you don't really need them and it's just from you being hurt a bit." Mary suggested, not wanting to be the one to tell a girl she just met that she might need diapers again. "I can get you those, but you can't wear the shirt yet until the IV's are out. Might just stick with that hospital gown until you're cleared." Mary suggested, crossing one leg over another.

The doctor came in to check on Amara's status. "Well good to see that she's awake. Vitals appear to be fine and everything else is in order. I'd say after another hour she'll be good to go." The doctor said, smiling. "Oh and one more thing. Miss Amara, there'll be some supplies waiting for you at the check out counter. You'll need them for a little bit."

Amara didn't like the sound of that. "Supplies? What the heck are you talking about?"

The doctor sighed. "You came in with a rather messy diaper. We suggest you stay in them for the time being. Your....issue seems to be psychological rather than physical. We'll be providing you a few diapers until you can get some yourself."

"That's great!" Mary cheered as she started to get up, assuming she was about finished and ready to do her own thing again. She stretched as the doctor talked with Amara, her own mood dropping as the girl was told she'd be needing the diapers for a while. Mary remained silent until the doctor finished talking, "I'm sorry Amara..." She tried consoling the girl. She turned and moved towards the wall, not really sure what to do currently before deciding on leaving the room to see about getting her own Pokemon healed up while the doctor talked with her. "I'll... give you your privacy, glad to hear you'll be out soon." She tried smiling as she moved towards the door.

Amara just sat there. She knew her Pokemon would be returned to her soon enough so she could cuddle with one of them at least. She was a bit distraught and would definitely take the next hour or so to try to come up with a bright side to this situation. "H-hey Mary? Could you ask Nurse Joy if my Pokemon are healed yet? I'd like to see them all sooner rather than later.... ANd if they are could you come back and give them to me? I'd rather...rather not be alone too much right now."

Mary turned around and nodded, "I'll be back soon." She left the room and heard towards the front of the Pokemon Center. She soon found Nurse Joy and exchanged Amara's Pokemon for her's, so they could get healed, and started heading back. She began to wonder what was going to happen, both to Amara and to Mary herself.

She felt bad for Amara, but she really didn't know her all that well, so Mary had some conflicting feelings about getting back under way with her own journey and with sticking around to help the girl. She debated in her head for a while before coming to a temporary conclusion, 'I guess I've got some time to kill anyways, and I did promise her I'd give her some of my clothes for a little.' She agreed with herself as she paused outside the room to compose herself. She sighed and entered the room, "I've got your Pokemon Amara!" She smiled and walked over to where her chair was next to the bed.

Amara gladly took her Pokemon and reached for a ball rather quickly."Mara! Came say hi to my new friend!" She said, calling out a pink Pokemon with bows everywhere. Mara lay down on her lap rather happily as Amara pet her. "Say hi to my Sylveon Mary! She's from Kalos! That's where I was born and where my mama lives." She said proudly, feeling much better already with her Pokemon in her lap.

"Oh, well... hello," Mary stammered as she adjusted herself in the seat, "And that's interesting! What's it like there? I've never been to Kalos." Mary admitted. She had been raised in Hoenn, but moved around a few times and by the time she was old enough to start her own adventure, she was in Sinnoh and started out there.

Mary smiled as Amara nuzzled with her Sylveon, glad that the girl had some happiness back in her. Mary thought about how her own Pokemon helped her out, sometimes just making her smile for no reason, and just sat back in her chair waiting until her Pokemon were healed again and began to think about her next few steps.

Amara felt much better with her Pokemon on her lap. "Well Kalos is well....it seems a lot fancier than Sinnoh. A lot of people are obsessed with clothes and there's a bunch of different Pokemon there that you can't find here. Plus there's a ton of awesome tourist sites. Like Geosage Town! There's this huuuuuge rock thing there and on Route 10 to the south of it. Team Flare tried to use it but some dude and his friends stopped them apparently." She ranted for a minute. "I actually kinda like it better in Sinnoh. My daddy lives in Sunnyshore City so I visit him a lot. I love Kalos though. My mama spoils me with tons of cute clothes!"

Mary smiled at Amara's explanation, nodding along as she talked. She tried imagining what different Pokemon might live there, not sure what they'd look , and the large rock as well. "So do you have Pokemon from Kalos then?" She asked, choosing one leg over the other as she leaned in to listen closely to Amara. "We moved around a lot while I was growing up, but only rotating around Hoenn, Johto, and Sinnoh." She said.

Amara nodded after Mara settled down for a nap in her lap. "Yeah I've got some Pokemon from Kalos and some from other regions as well. I think half of the ones I have with me right now are endemic and the others are from other regions. My brother has Staravia right now, though I think he's already evolved it into a Staraptor. I've also got a Greninja who's like the most badass Pokemon ever! Plus I've got a Gogoat that usually carries me around! He's super strong."
