Zelda's Zeal

Link rubbed the back of his head as he followed Zelda on foot. It was a nice day in the meadow, just past morning after they ate some breakfast. He wore his normal champion's tunic and pants while the princess had on her normal outfit, consisting of pants and her matching blue shirt. There were other details as well, but the outfits were memorable.

Zelda was certainly upset that the goddess hadn't reached out to her yet, and she knew she was going to be counted on. She had snapped at Link moments ago about following her too closely, of which he wasn't. As they approached a couple of trees, Link wondered if Zelda would continue to try and focus her prayers.

"Princess....I know you've been stressed lately. Perhaps taking a quick rest might help?" he suggests.

Zelda, still quite pissed about the fact that Link was insisting on helping her, sighed, to not lose her posture again. "Link, for the love of the goddesses, stop babysitting me! I'm fine and you constantly following me surely doesn't help!"

Little did she know her choice of words would end up being funny in the future. But for now, she had matters to deal with... Namely trying to reach out Hylia.

As Zelda was saying this, Link wiggled an ear as he heard something and felt things were not right. And as they pashed a bush, 3 bokoblins jumped out, clubs raised, and were about to attack her. Link managed to unsheath the master sword and a blue line began to cut across the air and hit the foes.

However, something deep inside Zelda began to glow faintly, and a yellow spherical shield came from her body and shattered as it touched the enemies, but they turned to smoke and disappeared. This energy was not something Zelda was used to and she would feel very weak and faint from it.

(Just trying to set up her passing out while training, and I'll describe the dream she's having, then we'll have her wake up after that)
