X-men; Hanks Hubris

Emma wasn't Happy , not one bit she was dragged into a portal soon after opening a door when she felt Hanks mental presence shift to worry... Unknown to her at the time it was thanks to a mix of Hanks Hubris and him being careless having made a device look almost the same as a DVD player that he left out in the open hooked up to a screen that lead the only X-men member that regularly visit the lab assume it was what it looked like and thus when the device was used for what it was meant sucked Hank and her elsewhere . Somewhere that looks familiar, Yet not looking familiar at the same time'' Be glad I won't make you an invalid for this'' Emma stated regal as ever to Hank as she started to try picking up some mental thoughts for intel gathering.

Hank groans as he sits up... having hit the ground a bit harder than Emma had. Mostly due to the fact that he landed first and managed to catch her. After being manhandled a bit as she got up off him... Hank managed to finally get off the ground himself. Crouching down next to her and adjusting his X-Speedo just a bit. He certainly wished people would stop just coming into his lab and causing these incidents. Not that Emma was the guilty party in this particular case. That would be Jubilee. But they'd have to have a stern talking to her later... as who knows where they are.

"Be still my heart. You say such sweet things dearest Emma. It's no wonder that Scott had such passion for you." Hank offered in a playfully sarcastic way as he looked around their current surroundings. Deciding that Emma was on the case well enough with her abilities he looked up to her for information. "Well? What did you find?" Hank asked, poking Emma in the side just a bit for to get her to spill the beans. "I didn't exactly have it tuned into specific dimension... so anything could be out there. Look on the bright side... you can hone your blending in ability." Hank joked.

''Summers was in a bad place after Greys supposed death, that making back then for what the 3rd time? Anyway I went with it till his feelings was sorted so he didn't well do something majority stupid '' Emma let that hang of course as she listened in on unshielded minds more and more till she found one she could dig into without damaging it'' Well we are in a place seemingly void of mutants?'' Emma said frowning eyeballing Hank'' No normalized do to mutants birth rates are so high and they aren't called mutants here'' Emma corrected herself as she shifted more in the intel she got'' To the point baseline humans are the odd ones here and looked down upon... I have a feeling this is one of Jubilations or the kids series type of worlds''

"Uhh... huh. Keep telling yourself that. Given we all know you two were involved beforehand. Sure... maybe things were different between them but that wasn't an invitation for you." Hank knew this wasn't the time or place for this but he'd bitten his tongue on the topic far too long. "Anyway, we can talk about all of that later." Especially since ticking Emma off right now would be a bad thing.

Hank perked a brow at Emma... "I'm confused. So there are no mutants here or there are?" Emma seemed to be offering fairly mixed messages in regard to that topic. "Cause if there are none... I'm not going to fit in very well." Sure Emma likely had a way to deal with that but they'd have to be very very careful. "I tend to find anything involving Jubilee can be problematic." Hank grinned.

''Its hard to get a solid read'' Emma admitted as she ignored what she wanted to say over the Summers matter but the mixed messages in regards to the topic is hard to pin down give it seems some are clueless or had alterations ... its either that or this reality doesn't play nice with her powers till she had adjusted to it if not something else'' Perhaps its this heavy presence lingering in the air interfering but its benign McCoy making my powers less reliable currently'' though the aswner would soon come to what the presence is as her telepathic ability pinged off something a hidden by powerful mind based illusionary thing '' Come with me '' Emma said like royalty ordering a peasant or commoner around

"Well... you might want to try a tiny bit harder. Because if there aren't any mutants here I don't think I can pass as your pet. No matter how much that idea turns you on." Hank quipped, something he did fairly often when he was a bit nervous. "Right... lead the way. And hope they don't have leash laws. You forgot that back home." Hank waggled his brows just a bit playfully at Emma and then smiled wide.

Hank knuckle-walked a bit along side Emma, his keen senses on high alert for anything that might be a threat to them. He wishes Emma had a better read on their situation, given they were walking into potential danger. After a little while Hank tugged on Emma's arm. "See or sense anything for certain yet?" Hank wondered as he stayed down. "If we can find a hotel or motel we can at least do research."

There was an image projected of a nude Bobby in Hanks head easily a scaring image given it was during the time Emma had possessed Bobby for the longest time,it was for the displeasure of Hank to her insulting her on insinuating she wasn't doing her best ''Don't assume I wasn't doing my best fool.'' Emma wasn't going to act like she was happy but she is planning out via what information she still is gathering from near enough people

"You know that doesn't bother me right?" Hank noted with a playful smirk to Emma. "We've been teammates for ages. Not like we haven't showered together." Hank noted with a elbow nudge to Emma. "Plus being a doctor I've seen most of the X-Men naked or at least nearly so." Hank stretched and rolled his shoulders just a bit. "I do admire you for immediately going for the attempt at trauma though."

"Werewolves? One wonders the nature of these particular ones. Honestly I think I'd prefer the whole leash thing if they're supernatural. It wouldn't change much for me but it might triple your shaving budget." Hank did have a habit of looking at things in an upbeat manner... which at times could be annoying. "So... thoughts?" Hank asked after the cryptic comment about the pub. "Other than having a pint inside?"

''Oh yes I forgot you are Bi best keep that between us here it seems we are in a less then tolerate place not like we aren't used to prejuidice''Emma mused though then decided to point something out '' And you do know you showered with my technically afew times and I can say you'd be a Beast in bed''Emma added in an attempt to bother Hank aswell as see if he'd react with a blush or other positive emotion.

''That term I find too degrading lycanthropy is alot less degrading in my eyes''Emma remarked honestly as she frowned'' We'll need to go with you being affected with a mutated strand of lycanthropy everyone would accept that easier in there it seems, but claiming you are a pet is appealing'' Emma was honest as she wonders how to get Hank not to be so annoyingly upbeat without twisting his mind'' Information as cliche as it sounds there is always atleast one person who is an info broker in these places'' Emma stated as she opened the door revealing what best can be described as a place outside of the past

Hank looks over at Emma with a somewhat playful quirk of a smile. "You just don't want me fawning over anyone attractive unless it's you." Hank remarked with a playful wink as he rolled his shoulders just a bit. And then Hank facepalmed about the showering thing and groaned. "Well, you're not wrong about me being a Beast in bed. That is my name... and I don't think even you could wear it out." Hank was in a weird playfully flirty mood and hip-bumped Emma lightly with a wink.

"Do you think they'll buy it? After all blue of my color doesn't tend to exist in nature. I guess I could explain it away as a dye job." Hank rubbed his chin just a bit and then he began laughing just a bit at Emma's comment. "You sound like you'd enjoy that far too much. Collaring the Beast and rubbing his belly?" Hank gave Emma a playful smack on the ass, somewhat just to see how she'd react to his forward behavior. "Well... you're the manipulative type. So lead the way." Hank gestured.
