X-men ; A Magical branch ?

Jubilee had pulled several favors lately not just with Hank but with other people both good guys and bad guys to ensure she can have a trip with Hank McCoy to Japan not be interrupted by needing to return early aswell as get Hank out of the mansion. True the first planned stop is an anime convention in Japan but the next thing planned is a tech convention in Japan so both can enjoy what they like first before doing everything else thats relaxing .

''Trust me Hank it'll be fine and just come in your X-speedo's the X-men sorta got a fanbase over there '' Jubilee said trying to pull the seemingly grumpy Hank from the lab '' And you promised to get out more '' Jubilee added reminding Hank that for a simple fact of Hank is too much of a reclusive furball

Beast actually wasn't complaining for once getting dragged by Jubilee on some crazy adventure out of the mansion. Especially since they were going to be attending a tech convention that Jubilee had dangled in front of him to entice him. He wasn't much for anime conventions but Jubilee had ensured him it wouldn't be too weird.

Hank didn't like dealing with a lot of luggage so always had a carry-on bag that had his laptop and a few changes of clothes and other necessities for the trip. "You sure it's okay to just travel in my briefs?" Hank questioned her with a cock of his head as he grabbed it from where it was waiting. "So do you have our tickets already?"

''Yeah Yeah, Its fine furball'' Jubilee said not in the mood to argue as she has always wanted to Travel to someplace thats developed with all the creature comforts she so loves without Trouble being the reason they are visiting such a place. ''And yeah I got them '' Jubilee said waving them infront of Hank .

Jubilee herself had the minimum needed clothes and dressed in her first X-men outfit for both nostalgia reasons and it has plenty of pockets for what she will be buying . ''Hopefully after the can you and me can get our hands on some of the latest tech aswell'' Jubilee in her case is thinking latest gaming PC software not outside of Japan yet while Hanks whatever interests him techwise.

''Just be careful I hear they have there own troubles and strangeness happening outside of mutant activity'' Jubilee warned as Hank never really put stock in the more outlandish stuff heard about like Godzilla and the more commonplace instances of 'Magical girls' the later Jubilee only is open to being a thing but doubts there is any 'magical girls' being real, How wrong she is and Hank is not putting stock into that one aspect while believing more down to earth things

Hank nodded lightly to Jubilee a he moved to follow her... knowing she'll likely want to drive her car to the airport. "You know... you probably could get a refund on your tickets and we could take one of the mini-jets." Hank noted while following her. Hank double checking his carry-on bag just to be sure he had everything needed.

"I'm happy that you're happy... I know I tend to get very busy and don't always have time to hang out like back in the day." Hank noted and clapped Jubilee on the back lightly. "I wouldn't put much stock in those stories... a lot of it is superstition." Hank noted trying to make Jubilee more at ease if it was worrying her at all.

''I know but its part of the experience '' Jubilee remarked rather chipper on the matter'' That and besides Dr. Doom is paying for the trip and everything we get or do because lets just say I made him see things my way'' Of course how she said it she was looking at her nails the manner Emma does when done something less then moral.

''Oh good that means you are carrying what I deal you carry'' Jubilee joked on the matter clearly as she was too happy to think up a real worthy joke''No worries I just was warning you as there is always some form of truth to be had in rumors and superstition ''Jubilee remarked as they headed to her car '' So just out of curiosity what would you say brought about Godzilla really if it was real?'' Of course, neither knows just how much superstition and tales in the media is played off as nothing but fiction yet being real over there

"I really wish you wouldn't tell me bout Dr. Doom doing nice things for you. It makes me worry about what he has planned." After all, most hero teams have had bad experiences with Doom over the years. Hank rolled his shoulders just a bit and gave a worried look to Jubilee in regard to what she just informed him about.

"Probably the same place that Mole Man got his various monsters. Or Godzilla is an alien like Fin Fang Foom. That's if he actually exists anyway." Beast was his usual skeptical self about the strange stories that Jubilee often told him about. Hank climbed into Jubilee's car once they got there and buckled his seatbelt.

''Meh You said Emma was bad news but then I found you used to like her, So I bet you are just jealous of Dooms brilliant mind able to do things you can't and overly paranoid as he has yet to doublecross me '' Jubilee remarked but then again only a fool would doublecross Jubilee considering all the powerhouses she has favors that they owe her at this point in time.

''What was his problem anyway? He seemed like a nice guy when I meet him during one time displacement trip despite knowing what he'd try ''Jubilee questioned aswell as explained why she is confused on that mans actions.

''So want us to fly to the airport or drive?'' Jubilee asked wanting Hanks input on the matter

Beast grunted just a bit at Jubilee's comment regarding Doom. "Do you really thing I'm jealous of Tin Face?" Hank asked, crossing his arms with another audible grunt. "You'll be sorry when he does double cross you." He doesn't like Jubilee taking such risks cause he does care about her quite a bit. But keeps that quiet.

"Doom is a manipulative bastard, he might seem like a friend... but at some point when it's advantageous to him he'll show his true colors." Hank rolled his shoulders just a bit as he exhaled slightly, just a bit tense. "A nice drive." After all he didn't want to show up at the airport all tense over the talk they just had.

Jubilee exhaled abit '' Well it was just a thought really''Jubilee offered as a way to explain the matter at hand'' I mean you have to at least be a little envious over everything , Still don't see why he has his own country'' Jubilee offered in a way her thoughts but still she chuckled at how childish Hank sounded on the 'you'll be sorry' line

''Yeah yeah but then I could have Deadpool or some other powerhouses show my displeasure to him for doublecrossing me'' Jubilee may not be evil but she is vindictive and holds grudges much like a badguy might so that might be why she gets along with their foes better then alot of the other good guys.

''But anyway driving it is, so well'' Jubilee stuck a cd into her cars sound system of mostly older music for Hanks ears not to hurt'' Last time Logan went with me on a trip it was rather funny to say the least given the metal detectors and searches before he had enough of it'' Jubilee remarked recalling last time especially fondly

Hank just looked pouty a bit over the Doom discussion but tried not to focus on it and be a downer. Hank looking almost as childish as he sounded at the moment with his arms crossed as Jubilee drove. "Let's try to get off on the right foot with the trip. It won't be any fun for either of us if we're grumbling at each other."

Hank chuckled though at the idea of Jubilee siccing Deadpool on someone. "Okay, remind me to never really get on your bad side." Hank leaned over and gave Jubilee a playful but sloppy kiss on the cheek. "Ooo, decent music. I'm stunned." Hank joked as he leaned back in his seat and let Jubilee handle the driving.

"One of the reasons I still hate traveling by public airlines." Hank noted, but yawned just a bit and relaxed. "But like you said it's part of the experience." Hank smiled over at Jubilee gave her shoulder a soft squeeze. "So tell me more about this con you're dragging me to? It's not a furry one is it? It's awkward when you set me up."
