The world of the Beasts is another dimension that is conneceted to the human world. In this special world, Beasts of all kind live their lives in a society that is both similar and really different to the human one: in this universe there are gods who have unlimited power, masters and students who train in the art of the battle... but also there are families who have usual works like vendors, and also families who live normal lives and are no different than an usual human family. All of the "beasts" in this world are anthropomorphic beings who resemble animals.


In the center of the city, there is a peculiar tavern that opens late at night for those beasts who want to drink and enjoy themselves, and here was where Kumatetsu was enjoying the night. "Hey! *hiccup* 'nother round here, i'm still not done yet and night is young!", drunk Kumatetsu screamed to the bar attendant while he raised his furry hand.


Kumatetsu is a bear-looking beast who enjoys drinking almost more than he enjoys being lazy. He is tall, strong and is very muscular. His fur is brown-colored, long and a bit messy.
Actually, Kumatetsu is a kendo master here in this world, and someday he wishes to win the title to become the next "Lord" of the city because a Lord can reencarnate himself into another life-form or object in his next life, and that is what Kumatetsu aspires to become. However... his reputation in the city is not quite a good one: he is lazy, angry, rude, wakes up late and basically acts like a child all the time. Also, the fact that all of his disciples always leave him because they can't stand him doesn't help quite much. Kumatetsu was wearing a white T-shirt and his old short blue jeans with a kendo black belt attaching it to his body.


Even though Kumatetsu is almost angry all the time, he was now too boozy to be rude. When he drinks, he becomes quite cheerful and friendly (sometimes maybe too friendly).
"You know you shouldn't drink this much, Kumatetsu. You should focus more on your training and find a disciple.", the bar attendant told the drunk beast.
"*hiccup* C'monnn... Just one more and i'll go home", Kumatetsu smiled at him closing his eyes and showing his quite big teeth. His cheeks were a bit pink due to all the alcohol he had in his system.

"It's hot tonight, isn't it? Mind if i take this off, i can't stand it hehehe!", Kumatetsu said as he removed his T-shirt leaving his furry upper body to be free and grabbed the shirt with one hand, leaving also his beer in a nerby table.

Just by looking at Hank McCoy better known as Beast from the X-Men one would think he's a resident of this dimension. Granted his fur color was rather unique compared to those that reside here normally... but certainly he could still be mistaken for one of them. Hank had been near one of the gateways between dimensions after dealing with a heroic threat to his world. And was startled as his wrist was grabbed and he was pulled through into the World of Beasts. It appeared to be some sort of guardian that looked him over... recognizing Hank's X-Speedo and mistaking him for a 'Cub' that had been separated from it's parent.

Ignoring Hank's attempts to explain the situation because it sounded like a Cub making up stories Hank got a firm lecture about visiting the Human world and even given a corrective swat. The Guardian pointed towards the main area of the city and shooed Hank off... believing he'd learned his lesson. Hank was reeling from confusion and his strange encounter with the Guardian and before he knew it was in the center of the city and noticed the tavern... hoping he'd get some sort of answers to what was going on and where he was. As Hank was entering into the tavern he heard and made note of the large and obviously drunk bear-like beast.

Hank also now noticed that everyone in this land appeared to be some sort of humanoid Beast and couldn't help but stare a bit in awe as he approached the bar and cleared his throat just a bit. "I'm sorry I think I'm a bit lost... don't suppose you can help me at all?" Hank glanced over at Kumatetsu as he pulled off the T-Shirt... taking note of his muscular form as he pulled it off over his head. "I got grabbed by this weird Guard or something and lectured to find my parents." Hank rubbed the back of his head... but left out the firm swat to his backside. "Umm... is he alright?" Hank asked the bartender about the obviously drunk Kumatetsu.

"What do you mean you're lost? You're in the capital, of course... You're sober, right?", the bartender thought that Hank might be also drunk, not very uncommon given that it was already too late. "A guardian? Your parents...? But you're obviously not a child...", the bartender said while pointed Hank with his finger. "However, your fur color and overall musculature is really exotic, i've gotta say...", the bartender wondered for a minute but Hank was not really that different than the rest given the fact that there were a lot of species out there.

Then Hank asked about Kumatetsu. "Him? Yeah, "our future lord" is alright, just drunk as usual on friday nights. He's a bit trobulesome, but don't bother him and it will be all right", the bartender told Hank.


Just when Kumatetsu finished getting his shirt off he saw a strage looking blue monster that he had never seen before. "Hmm?", Beast glanced to Hank at the eyes, he was curious.

Kumatetsu approached to where Hank was standing, he drank a bit more than he should so even walking was a bit tedious for him. When he was near to where Hank was standing, he overstepped a bit and positioned next to Hank.

Kumatetsu squinted his eyes a little bit and started examining Hank. He noticed how he was also almost barely clothed, "Ha! Another man who likes parties i see? Say, where are you from? I've never seen someone like you, so blue and all...", Kumatetsu smiled at Hank while asking.

He then looked down at him and closely centered his vision at his X-Speedo and added: "And what's with that fundoshi you're wearing? It's so weird...! *hiccup*", Kumatetsu sure was friendly when he was not sober. "See? Mine is just simply white, like a true master should wear!", Kumatetsu showed a bit of his fundoshi before putting his pants up again.

"Enough Kumatetsu! Don't remove more of your clothes and please stop bothering my clients!", the bartender said angrily to Hank.

"Ya'know? You remind me a bit of myself! Maybe we can train together someday! How are you with the sword?", Kumatetsu was fascinated with this new specimen. He probably just wanted someone to be since both of his close friends gone home early today instead of partying all night with Kumatetsu. He placed his elbow on Hank's shoulder while he heard him anwser.

"The Capital of...?" Hank asked of the bartender looking a bit confused. "And I'm starting to think I shouldn't be sober." Beast quipped, as he glanced to Kumatetsu's drink and gestured to it after pulling out some money from the Human world and trying to pay the bartender. "Can I get one of those?" Hank shrugged a bit to the info about the guardian and the misunderstanding. And then blushed at the compliment about his fur color and musculature. "Thank... you." Hank chuckled just a bit. "Gotcha... don't bother the big guy." Of course, Kumatetsu had other ideas.

Hank reached out to steady Kumatetsu as he stepped close to him. Blushing just a bit as the large beast of a man began checking him out. "Easy there big guy. Me? I'm from Dunfee, Illinois. But spend most of my time in New York." Hank perked a brow at the question about his briefs and looked down. "Fundoshi?" Hank asked then was surprised at the beast dropping his pants and showing off his undies. "It-It's fine. It's not like I'm exactly wearing all that much myself." Beast noted with a chuckle and then shook his head. "I'm not really much of a sword user."

"What do you mean the capital of...? The capital of the world of the beasts", the bartender told Hank in surprise but ignored the request for a drink because he was occupied.

"Hahahaha! New York? And what is that place anyway, you're joking?", Kumatetsu patted Hank's back while laughing out loud.

Kumatetsu followed Hank's eyes with his own and noticed how Hank was being a bit reluctant to talk or look at him and thought that probably the bartender told Hank something about him: "Hey... ya didn't told anything bad about me right?", Kumatetsu shouted at the bartender.

"C'mon, i'm the future master, there's nothing to be shy about, hahaha!", Kumatetsu pushed Hank a bit too hard in direction to a nearby table, he couldn't control his strength very well.

"The world of the beasts?" Hank echoed the bartender still looking a bit confused. Hank reached up and felt the back of his head... wondering if he hit it or something during that recent fight. "My luck I'm unconscious in an alley somewhere." Hank jumped a bit as Kumatetsu patted him on the back likely a bit stronger than he intended. "Handsy."

Hank began trying to interject himself between the Bartender and the grumpy Kumatetsu. "Easy there friend... no need to get mad at the tender. Maybe I can buy you a drink?" Hank still had no clue his money was no good here. But before he knew it he got shoved by Kumatetsu... crashing into a nearby table and soaking himself with unfinished drinks.

Hank was covered in drinks due to the accidental launch.

"Huh? Hey, did you slip up or something?", Kumatetsu saw how Hank's fur was wet and it smelled a lot of alcohol but didn't noticed that it was due to his push. He was about to laugh at the situation, but then he remembered that the table that Hank fell into was the one where his beer was.

"H-HEY!! That was MY beer!!", Kumatetsu suddendly started to feel angry and frowned his eyebrows at Hank. He started approaching Hank slowly, looking at the floor.

"Oh, you tried to make fun of me, right? Of course you would!", Kumatetsu extended his arms and started flexing them. He was preparing to fight. The bartender was somewhere else so he wasn't watching what was happening, but the other clients stared at them silently.

"C'mon, get up!", Kumatetsu said pointing at him, looking at the state that Hank was but still thinking it was his fault that he slipped the drinks.

When Hank was finally up, he added: "You wanted to mock me didn't you? Just like many others did before you!", Kumatetsu then pushed Hank with his arms, now in purpose. He was angry, and started a fight with the blue beast.

Some of the clients started to call for help outside.

Beast growled a bit in frustration... soaked with alcohol and getting annoyed that he couldn't get a straight answer about what was going on. He normally was pretty good at keeping his cool... but after the Guardian and the lack of answers making him a bit grumpy. Hank swiftly got back to his feet and looked Kumatetsu right in the eye a bit annoyed. "Maybe you should be careful pushing people around." Hank growled a bit and poked Kumatetsu in the chest with a clawed finger.

"I probably did you a favor... you seem like a cranky drunk." Hank could tell that Kumatetsu seemed to itching for a fight and took a step back from hm. Though as he took a step back Kumatetsu pushed him, making him stumble back a few steps. Though this time he didn't lose his balance and instead lept for Kumatetsu, trying to knock him off his feet... crashing through another table and drenching them both. "I don't want to hurt you!" Hank shouted in warning while trying to get him in a hold.

"Who are you calling cranky you fat blue monkey!?", Kumatetsu answered Hank before suddendly being knocked off by him.

Hank was holding Kumatetsu so he couldn't move, but Kumatetsu struggled with his arms to get free. "Knock it off!", he shouted.

Kumatetsu charged against Hank with his head, he tried to push Hank backwards putting his head on Hank's chest but they were almost equal in strength, due to both of them being tired.

Kumatetsu was sweating a bit due to the heat and being exhausted. He raised his hand, preparing himself to punch Hank in the face... but then his hands were quickly tied behind his back with a rope. "Wha-...?", Kumatetsu screamed.

Two royal guards were off duty in the tavern that day, and they had with them a few tools which they could use to capture someone in case something was wrong. The 2 guards were also beasts, obviously: one resembled a bull and the other was similar to a wolf.

"This time you really messed up Kumatetsu! What do you think you are doing?", the bull guard said to Kumatetsu as he made sure that the ropes were tight enough. Kumatetsu looked angrily to his eyes for a moment, only to look at Hank again, trying to move his hands with anger.

"It's... not my fault, that stupid blue monkey... he was *hiccup* making fun of me!", Kumatetsu added. He was so angry that his face went a bit red.

The wolf guard slowly approeached Hank from behind and also tied him. "Just in case... you are coming as well. You both stink of alcohol.", the guards had to make sure that everyone was equally punished for disturbing the calm.

"You both will have to explain everything to his lord, and i don't think he will be pleased with what he will hear about you, Kumatetsu.", the bull guard remarked. They started to push bot beasts outside of the bar.

"Fat blue monkey!?" Hank growled a bit in reply to Kumatetsu... as he tried to keep the fellow beast in a hold to prevent him from attacking him. "Do I look like a monkey to you?" Hank did look rather apelike... but his nature as a scientist did somewhat resent the monkey slight. "I'd at least say more apelike... more akin to a gorilla. Given I don't have a tail or engage in poo flinging." Hank noted.

Hank winced a bit... preparing for the punch but surprised when it didn't happen. And even more relieved to seeing the guards restraining Kumatetsu. "Thank goodness you showed up... this drunken lummox seems like he could use a night in the drunk tank." Hank shook his head at Kumatetsu... before looking at the guards. "Does he always act like a petulant child?" Of course, Hank had his own problems.

"Hey wait... what are you doing!?" Hank shouted much as his hands were also bound behind him. "I smell like alcohol cause this oaf knocked me into a table." Hank tried to explain the circumstances behind his booze soaked fur. "The Lord? What Lord? I'm not even sure where the heck I am. I have the right to a phone call and to speak to a lawyer!" Hank demanded as they were escorted out.
