What if Barbara has a day job as a library assistant? Since she worked as a librarian in the canon (Most of them), could make for some extra worldbuilding. Furthermore, it could make for a moment seeing what Cass gets up to in her own time, and potentially lead into her going to visit Dinah for her "mommy session."

"Say, if you're Cass's sort-of mommy, and I was your mama bird, does that make me a... grandma in a way?"

Barbara blinked for a moment, before a teasing grin stretched on her face.

Dinah made a show of groaning into her hands.
"Ugh, I'm in my thirties, I cannot be a grandma already..."

Barbara patted Dinah's shoulder.

Barbara giggled sheepishly, reminded of her once-caretaker's sternness.
