Furthermore. Another idea. You know how Helena is going to save Baby-Bat when she’s kidnapped and then have a heart to heart at her house? What if, before that, Barbara sends her some information about a missing student, and then when we switch over to night time and Babs gets saved, Helena says
“That information was solid.”
Maybe the day after Barbara helps Dinah clear Ollie’s name and babysits Conner, we start with Helena’s day job as a teacher? Then she messages Barbara for help and we transition to night time for the baby doll bit?

I think it’d be fun if Mary is perfectly cordial during the show. If we want to set up the brief kidnapping, maybe someone can ask her how she feels about the changes in Gotham since she was in Arkham?

Oh. And here’s an idea: you know the idea of Babs changing herself while giving information? What if that’s how we start the undercover portion. Like, Barbara explains the plan to Dinah and Helena while cleaning herself and sliding on a pull up?

Okay, here’s an idea: the next morning after Barbara goes to sleep in the crib, and after she wakes up and has a mental battle with herself about getting out of bed and changed into grown up clothes, she sits down to check the news and coincidentally finds herself watching a talk show where Mary Dahl is attending?
And maybe after Babs listens a bit, she gets a call from Helena talking about how she’s about to pull something big and she wants Black Canary and Baby-Bat to be backup in case it’s a setup.
