Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on DiaperedAnime:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.

Yeah, that's hard for sure. It's even harder to try and write an original story because you basically have to CREATE characters which flow with the story. Characters that have no fans and people can't immediately relate to.
Well it's completely understandable if you have other things to do and not completely focus on writing. Can't blame you on that.
The average time it takes for me to plan, write, edit and post a story is usually a month, so I wouldn't feel bad because I get where you're coming from.
Hopefully there's something that can help you out... how about your wife? Maybe you could discuss with her, considering that more than likely she's aware that you write padded fiction and all that. XD
I finished up the next chapter of my Soul Eater story, posted it on here and got a writer's upgrade. I also ordered some Bambinos in the mail and excited to get them and have a little fun. =3
