Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on DiaperedAnime:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Oo wow! I didn't know this thread was here.

You seem to have a lot of good ideas for this game, altho I don't see much of it implemented in the demo. I too would lilke to work on a game like this one, or the others at FTT.

Perhaps you have seen my game? The one with the random crazy plot, and the zelda style action combat system.

Thanks for the offer. One area that I'm always looking for help on is story/item/quest ideas. So if you can think of some good scenarios, sort of like the ones I mentioned in my last post that would be really awesome.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention before is that I've also been playing around with making a few side line demo "games" based on various short AB/DL/BF fanfics. Basically I've got all this sprite material done and in its current configuration it's real easy to throw together in simple ways, so I could take a short story and essentially create a short, lightly animated, interactive game in which you could "play" through the story with a direct visual representation of the text, which I think would be pretty cool. They would also make for good "appetizers" so to speak, so the wait for the real game won't seem quite so far off if I'm releasing some regular teaser demos. I could even do like a story contest and then the winner would get their short story made into a fun little interactive "game". I'll post more on this later, right now I need to catch some z's, been up for far too long now. -_-

Okey dokey, I have a new demo!

It's doesn't exactly ~do~ anything, but if you press the action button on the computer terminal to your left you can get every single item in the game in your inventory. The items are all "dummy" in that they don't really do anything, but you can at least see what they look like and read their descriptions.

Some of the clothing does work though. If you go to your "equip" page you can change your outfit, although you can't take your bra and diapers off. Accessory items can be equipped but won't have any impact on the character graphic yet.

All the adult characters are also now in the orphanage, although none of them speak as of yet. Next I need to focus on finishing all the orphanage kids. That'll likely take me a week or two depending on how busy I get. At that point I'll actually be able to start building scenarios and constructing the actual game play.

I think I'm going to get some sleep now...it took a very, very long time to format all the icons and then stick them all into the game one by one. It was horrendously tedious. There's over 480 icons so far. o_O

It also took me like three freakin hours to figure out how their sloppy base code worked and to recode it all to handle my larger icons (normally RMXP only allows for 24x24 sized icons). That's to be expected though, there's a lot of things I want to do with my game that aren't outright available with its current coding, but it's all in ruby scripting so it's pretty easy to add stuff and change stuff around once you familiarize yourself with it. I'm fairly lucky in that I'm as right brained as I am left brained, so I can both code and do graphics quite proficiently...well, that and I devoted nearly a decade of my life to learning this stuff inside and out.

It looks like you're coming along well! Everything is looking great. I love how you can change clothes.. I dunno, always had fun with RPGs where you could dress your character up!

The items look varied.. I can kinda see where things are gonna be going with it. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I did notice a couple minor errors in the demo just now, like the description of the paintbrush and pallet. I also accidentally left in one of my little warp gate/circles...it doesn't actually do anything, but that's not what the final warp gates will look like, it was more of a failed test than anything.

It should probably also be noted that the item screen is going to work...differently. First it'll bring you to a screen where your storage items are (currently they're mixed in with the items). Then when you select a storage item it'll take you to the inventory of that storage item. In addition to your storage items there will also be "room items", which is basically stuff that you can only use if you're in the same room as it. Stuff like the microwave, washer, dryer, wall sockets, etc.

Starting out one of yer primary food stuffs for the Fourth Space will be baby food, because there's tons of the stuff and unlike all the other food it's not inventoried very closely, so you can basically take as much as you need or can carry. It may not taste too awesome and you might feel a little babyish, but at least you don't have to worry about getting caught.
