AB Virus: Patient 0 (X-men rp)

While back before the Virus was a plague on mutants , Patient 0 happened in the oddest of places in a lab where plenty of other mutants are, be it this being unstable genetics caused it to affect him first or just bad luck no one will know for sure... But wait we are getting ahead of ourselves... Lests start from just around the time Hank McCoy became patient Zero... Hank hasn't been feeling well and this has worried Jubilee as Hank seemed to get further and further run down … But as with all things X-Men related it is bound to not just be that simple Still Jubilee despite being younger started to shoo Hank to a bed in the lab to lay down and rest

It was rare for Hank to be feeling under the weather... given his enhanced mutant metabolism usually brushed off anything that could make him sick. Unless of course it was something like the Legacy Virus which was capable of making him sick, despite never doing so when he was around those who were sick or even dying from it before he could find a cure thanks to help. So Hank just scoffed at Jubilee's concerns as she tried to shuffle him off to bed. "I'm sure it's nothing just exhaustion from my work."

Beast did have the very bad habit of working too hard for his own good. Burning the candle at both ends wouldn't even be entirely accurate. But he wouldn't believe he was getting sick no matter what the evidence sees to point with. "I have things to do and places to be today. If it'll make you happy I'll grab some cold medicine and some chicken soup for lunch." Hank continued to resist, especially unwilling to tell Jubilee that she was right. "You're welcome to tag along if you worry so much." Hank conceded.

''Then rest or do I need to call your Aunt Polly to have her come to stop your working till you aren't exhausted?'' Jubilee would do it too no matter how out of touch with reality Polly is.. The woman cares for Hank and well Jubilee is sure such a threat would atleast make Hank be abit more willing to take things easy for abit. Regardless she groaned at Hanks stubbornness to not take care of himself

''I swear you at times are worse then a baby '' Jubilee remarked at Hank not even thinking of resting as she was getting frustrated at Hanks insistence hes fine when Jubilee even to test things stuck a thermometer in Hanks mouth knowing he'd atleast let that happen to try appeasing Jubilee and all this proved once removed Hank has a fever ''I suppose could medicine will atleast help that fever and I will tag along we're practically a team with me being your sidekick at this piont''Jubilee of course wants to make sure her friends fine after all so she will tag along despite her plans today

Hank tried to wave off Jubilee from fussing over him... shaking his head with a bit of a groan. "I'll be fine. Stop fussing so much." Hank groaned some as he felt weak all over but didn't want Jubilee to be aware of that. Even trying to straighten up and look like he didn't want to take a nap. "I'm fine. You know I don't get sick easily. If it'll make you happy I'll get some cold medicine while I'm out on the town." Hank oddly repeated the idea of getting cold medicine that he'd already told her that he would do a moment ago.

"You're a baby." Hank snapped a bit... and mrphed as she stuck a thermometer in his mouth and crossed his arms while it registered his temperature. Hank grumbled around the thermometer and wished it hadn't confirmed Jubilee's concerns that he was coming down with something. "See.. medicine will be good." Hank pushed his way back to his feet and started heading for the motor pool. Hank grabbed his keys once near his van and stopped in his tracks looking a bit lost, jingling the keys a bit in front of his face.

''Hank ...Hank...Hank...HENRY''Jubille had called Hanks preferred address afew times given how Hank had zoned out and not getting a response so she yelled his actual name hoping that'd snap him out of it though even if it does she swipped his keys no telling what would happen if he zones out while driving … Still she was even more worried how he had zoned out she even out of habit from caring for X-babys and regular babys checked Hank to see if the zoning out was from him having a accident … Even though that's unlikely and finding nothing started to shuffle him to the passenger side of his van

Beast snapped out of it once Jubilee shouted Henry, Hank even dropping the keys so Jubilee could easily take them from him. "Huh? Oh... sorry.. I got lost in thought." Of course he didn't share with Jubilee that the thought was 'Shiny Keys!' for the most part. Hank thought maybe the fever was just getting to him and not something more serious. "Just had a lot on my mind lately. You can drive if you want to." Hank smiled, though it was rare he let anyone typically drive his van other than him.

Hank blushed some as Jubilee seemed to be checking his pants like he was a child, fussing a bit at all the attention. Indeed as suspected Hank was neither wet nor messy, though he was wearing a pair of the cartoon underoos that Jubilee had bought him in the past as a joke gift. They had just oddly appealed to him after his shower that morning. Hank letting Jubilee lead him to the passenger seat and even letting her help him get buckled if she thought of it rather than leaving it to Hank.

''Must be the fever getting too bad'' Jubilee remarked sarcastically clearly believing Hank is way sicker then just a fever as she got and noticed the underoo's she bought him as a gag gift one time in the past some Care Bear underoo's with Hugs and Tugs on the pair... Regardless she blinked at him offering to let her drive'' You must be badly sick to let me drive '' Jubilee remarked as nearly no one outside of Logan would let her drive and Logan still gets on edge when she drives … Not that Logan worries about himself but rather about Jubilee given she might have earned her drivers license but she has a habit of driving like Jack Fenton from Danny Phantom from almost everytime she trys to drive normal something happens needing the X-Men

Indeed Jubilee buckled Hank up in the backseat Passenger side and turned on the backseat media player that already has things like Sesame Street and Care bears as the master play programing do to how often a X-Men tend to get mentally or physically regressed... Though why she turned it on in this case to try having Hank not focus on work aswell as its out of habit from caring for kids .''So where to first?''

Beast scoffed just a bit at Jubilee saying the fever must be getting bad. "It's not too bad... you saw the themometer down in my lab. Unless my temp just jumped up massively I doubt it's the fever." Hank knew something was wrong... but was too stubborn and too proud to admit that he was sick and might need help. Especially how he'd just zone out for no reason and snap out of it a short time later. "I'm sure it'll pass eventually. And no, I just think letting you drive will get you to stop fussing." Hank joked, though Jubilee might notice that he's a bit worried about driving.

Beast was about to start complaining about being put in the backseat and buckled in... though he was cut short as Jubilee turned on the backseat media player. "The backseat? Did you forget a car seat so I can sit in the front?" Though Hank's focus quickly fell off Jubilee and turned to the TV. Hank actually bouncing a bit in his seat as Care Bears came on. Hank's grumpy face spreading into a happy smile. At least that would maybe keep him quiet until Jubilee figured out what she was going to do. Seeing Hank acting like this was strange, but it was rare to see him actually happy.

Jubilee having been around Hank for so very long is aware how Stubborn he is aswell as proud to admit things... He'd probably sooner keel over then admit hes sick... Which makes a lot that care about Hank frustrated and worried to the max. Worse he clearly scared of driving himself more then Jubilee herself driving him.

Jubilee frowned at Hanks remark on the carseat matter . So honestly wasn't babying him... Was she? Whatever the case she rose a eyebrow and her alarm bells was raising at how Hank was behaving even more... Perhaps Mr. Fantastic or Bruce Banner would be worth stopping by today with Hank to make sure hes fine and not getting adversely affected from something standard... At the very least Hank seems happy right now so that's a small plus at the very least. Regardless she started to drive looking at Hanks schedule for the day on where he needs to go

Beast didn't really have much in the way of things scheduled for the day. Some planned visits in mutant town, some supplies for the mansion, oddly enough Hank had written in scribbly handwriting that didn't match his other usual perfection a visit to a toy store. It was Hank's handwriting but it seemed to be scribbled like a child would do so. It's almost surprising it's not in crayon, likely just due to Hank not having any handy. As for whether or not Jubilee was babying him... she had instinctually turned the media player on to keep Hank entertained like you typically would a child.

She was starting to think Mr. Fantastic or Bruce Banner might be a good idea, they were even smarter than Hank and might know what's going on. Maybe he just was burning out from overwork and his brain was having a bit of a tantrum of needing a rest. As if the zoning out was more micronaps than anything more serious. "Hugs and Tugs!" Hank offered happily as if he was lost in the joy of the Care Bears. And if Jubilee looked back he was, but he'd also pulled down the front of his costume pants and was poking at them on his underoos while they both were appearing on the TV.
