Jani slowly yawned and rubbed his eyes. As he looked at the other kids he sighed quietly and hugged his teddy bear tightly. 'Every time one of them gets adopted they stay with their adoptive families, but whenever I get adopted they always return me a few days later. Why do they get kept and I don't?' He thought to himself. He sniffled quietly and curled into a ball in the corner.

Jani looked up and saw someone hovering over him. He quickly hid his head behind his teddy bear and shook a bit, soaking his diaper in the process.

One of the workers there saw Jani hiding and walked over. "I'm sorry about that. He's a tad shy around new people. Can I help you with anything?" She asked in a kind, calm voice.
