Honestly? She had no idea. She’d never been in a car seat before. “…I’ll need some help.” Though, she still knew what the car seat represented, and for whom they were for. Kuro sat herself down on the car seat, her thin padding crinkling beneath her, as she waited for Hunter to buckle her in.

Oh ok... let's nee how this works." He said and waited for her to sit down in the seat. Which he hoped it was comfy enough for the girl. It was suppose to be top of the line and super comfy. It had a cup holder on each side as well, one for a drink and another for snacks. Not that the girl had either of them at the moment.

"Ok let's head home." He said after a good amount of struggling with the straps on the carseat. But after about five minutes of struggling he managed to get the straps and clicked on the girl. He then lowered a screen and gave the girl a small remote. "You can watch TV if you want, or we can talk, or you can take a nap." He said as he got into the front seat and started to drive off.

Home. It felt like such a foreign word to her, something she hadn’t had for many years. It felt… strange, yet she was also relieved at it. The car seat was indeed comfortable, and she suddenly realised she didn’t mind sitting in one. Kuro looked at the remote. “I-I could watch some stuff… I think we have a lot of time to talk things through back at… home.”

Though, she wasn’t sure for how long she would be able to keep awake. Having barely slept last night - the daunting prospects and anticipation had kept sleep far away from her kind - she knew that she wasn’t exactly going to be able to make it through the full day without a nap of some sorts.
At least I’ll… be safe if that happens. She thought, feeling the absorbent garment with her hands.

"Ok sounds good." He said, clicking on the radio a bit so the speakers would play in the back for the girl, and that was he wasn't having to hear whatever the girl choose to watch at full blast. The little girl had hundreds of different TV shows to choose from, thousands if she decided to go for something not meant for kids. But it would probably be best if he didn't push the envelope just yet.

But with that taken care of he started to focus on driving. This was the last time he would have to take this road again so he would just power through for this last 2 hour trip. Though he wished he could be the one having a nap in the back seat. But oh well it will be worth it when he got the girl home and got things set up for her.

She had flicked to a nature documentary, about various wildlife in the savanna. Of course, as Kuro was soon to find out, it wasn’t… exactly intriguing for a girl her age. Nevertheless, it didn’t matter, for after a few minutes, she felt the world darken around her as fatigue took over - though, she blamed the car seat for being so comfortable…

When I wake up… everything will be different, won’t it? The question, which would’ve left her bright awake as it did for her yesterday, was a soft echo as sleep overcame her, her soft eyelids closing. The gentle buzz of the documentary ran on, as various exotic scenery flashed by outside of the car, all with the little girl, blissfully asleep in her own dreamland.

Hunter shot his eyes from the road to the rear view mirror every couple minutes to see how the girl was reacting to things, trying to get a good read on her. She seemed mostly relaxed at the moment, just watching some sort of nature documentary... not what he would have chosen to watch on a long car trip but he gave her full control over the TV so whatever floated the kids boat.

But soon she was passed out and sleeping away in her cars eat. So he reached to the console beside him and turned the TV off before using it to turn on some lullaby music to help the girl sleep a bit more soundly, though he did raise the window separating the front and back of the car, like a limo, up so the sound was just in the back. He knew they had better things to do other than have him get into a car accident because he fell asleep at the wheel. But with the music trapped in the back of the car he focused on driving. Though he questioned of this was a good idea... adopting a girl just for business purposes... it seemed pretty scummy.
"A bit to late to grow a conscious towards this now." He muttered to himself. As far as the state cared he was now her legal guardian and the two had a deal, too late to back out now. So he kept driving. Only stopping once as they were like 20 minutes. Away from his house, but stopping at a fancy looking restaurant, he had yet to eat anything that day and his stomach was demanding a meal. So he cut the music and rolled the window down. "Hey kid... Kid!" He said to her to wake her up. "Lets get a bite to eat."

Nestled comfortably within the car seat, Kuro slept blissfully unaware of everything that had transpired around her. Even as the Car slowly came to a stop at a restaurant, with Hunter constantly calling for her... it still took just a little bit of effort for her to return from her dreams. Groggily, the little girl yawned, rubbing her eyes as she expected to still be back at the orphanage, even preparing to greet all the staff members that were around, only to be met with the face of Hunter.

She looked a little confused at first, but quickly found her bearings as she shook the last vestiges of sleep away "O-Oh! Mr Hunter!" She quickly greeted, a twinge of red in her cheeks. His proposed idea didn't sound bad either "A bite...? Okay, I think I can eat a little."

Hunter was starting to get a little concerned as he needed to put in a good deal of effort into calling the girl, even getting ready to shake her of it she had not started to wake up. He sighed in relief when the girl sat up and looked around... it would NOT have looked good if the girl he had just adopted ended up needing a funeral service. Of course her manager/caregiver didn't know about her lack of sleep the previous night before. Of he had he probably would've just gone straight home and let the girl finish her nap there. But she was awake now. "Ok... whew. Give a guy a heart attack." Hunter sighed before getting out of the car and opened the back and unbundled the girl. "Now how the pull ups?" He asked her, "Did you have an... um...." He staggered off unsure how to address this at the moment though it was probably clear what he was trying to figure out, if the girl had an accident or not.

Quickly, the mention of an accident immediately caused her face to burn a bright crimson red. Slowly, she reached over to her bottom, feeling the plastic undergarment against her hand… and winced. While Kuro had specifically tried to use the bathroom before she embarked on the car, it still didn’t help that her bladder had released just a small bit - not really enough for a proper accident (as she had went to the bathroom before)… but just enough to be vaguely noticeable.

Though in the current case, she was a little too embarrassed anyways to be admitting that. “Ah… um…” Her voice stammered, unwilling to fully tell the truth “I think I’m… okay.”
