Sucy lazily stirred the contents of her cauldron, taking care to add the necessary ingredients and doing her best to ignore Akko's cries of frustration.

"Oh, come on!!!"

The latter was not working so well.

The fool had found some kind of advanced spell, probably to teach Cavendish, and she had spent the entire afternoon practicing in their bedroom. All afternoon, with her and Lotte having to listen to the constant whining and annoying pounding of her brunette roommate.

"Will you shut up? Some of us are trying to do something really productive," Sucy whined, finally giving up trying to make that silencing potion.

“So am I!!” Akko complained as she tried to get the measure right for the 100th time. She had thought that flying on a broomstick would mean she had gotten better at magic, so why was this so hard? It was then she noticed her brew looked like it was about explode. “Uh oh…” she said as she was enveloped in an explosion.

"And now what-" Sucy turned around, just in time to notice the imminent explosion and barely managing to activate her mushroom-umbrella to cover herself. She had learned to keep it close whenever Akko practiced magic.

Once the smoke cleared, she could see Lotte wrapped in a small cyan field, courtesy of her little spirit. "Akko *cough*, what happened?"

"She ruined it, like always," Sucy grumbled as she tried to clear her desk. "Why am I not surprised?"

“Hey!” Akko said as she cleared the smoke out of her face. “I don’t always screw things up!” She said as she continued while a hissing noise came from her. “Well I mean aside from that one time, and the other…” as she continued she didn’t notice the stain forming on her skirt with a puddle forming beneath her.

"Like every time you think you can do a spell and it ends up literally exploding in your face, or ours" Sucy started to turn off her cauldron's little furnace as she put away the rest of her materials, so Akko wouldn't ruin them too.

She frowned when she heard a splashing sound. Akko had knocked over one of her vials? I swear by Nine that... She turned to scold the brunette, noticing the puddle forming at Akko's feet. "What's that...?"

“What’s what?” Akko asked as she looked down, before blushing and stammering. “Uh…..” She said as she covered her skirt, not that it did anything.

"Did you just...?" Sucy narrowed her eyes, a sharky grin spreading across her face as Akko's blush only got worse. "My God, yes you did. I always took you for childish, but pee yourself Akko?" She couldn't continue, bursting out laughing.

"Sure, blame someone else for your mistake." Sucy's smile never diminished as she watched her brunette roommate pout at her with teary eyes, only adding to her bratty toddler image.

"Sucy, leave her alone," Lotte scolded her pale friend as she climbed down from the bunk towards Akko, carefully avoiding the puddle as she placed a hand on the brunette's shoulder. "Akko, are you alright?"
